Roundup For Lawns4 is a tough weed killer for use on Southern grasses that kills weeds, not the lawn (when used as directed). This product kills 93 types of weeds, including dollarweed, dandelion, clover, and yellow nutsedge (see inside booklet for weed list). It can be used on Southern grasses, including Bermudagrass, Bahiagrass, Centipede, and St. Augustine (including Floratam). The ready-to-use formula with our extended wand makes it ideal for targeting weeds in hard to reach places. In fact, one gallon of Roundup For Lawns4 treats up to approximately 2,000 weeds. This product starts working immediately and is rainproof in 4 hours. Roundup For Lawns4 kills the root so weeds won’t come back. The best time for broadleaf weed applications is when weeds are young, actively growing, and soil moisture is adequate. A: Hello, we recommend when applying Roundup for Southern Lawns4 Ready-to-Use do, not apply within drip-line of trees or shrubs or to exposed roots. Keep 18 to 20 inches away from ornamental plants.

Q: Will this work on sandbur? Is it safe on zoysia grass?

A: Roundup for Southern Lawns4 Ready-to-Use may be applied to dormant bermudagrass, dormant zoysiagrass and dormant bahiagrass. Use caution when applying this product to warm-season turfgrasses when turf is going into dormancy in the fall or coming out of dormancy in the spring as some injury may occur. Sandbur is not included on the list of weeds that this product controls. We would suggest using a product such as Roundup Weed & Grass Killer (Concentrate Plus, Super Concentrate, RTU). But please be aware non-selective controls such as Roundup will damage all vegetation, including the lawn. So if you are using this on your lawn, only use this as a spot treatment for the individual weeds, spray when there is no wing and directly into the center of the weed.

Q: Will it kill my Garden?,i have some of this but am reluctant in using it because i do not want to kill my vegetables is this product ok?

A: The Roundup for Lawns Southern should not be sprayed near your vegetables. Keep 18 to 20 inches away edible plants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed killer was effective in our yard. They were gone very quickly and did not hurt the grass in our yard which is Bermuda. We used it as a spot treatment vs spraying the whole yard as well.

It took 2 applications for it to actually kill the weeds. Other than that, it's a good product and the best part is that it has no smell to it and it covers quite an area. I will definitely be buying it again.

We have a small patch of grass in our part of the "American dream" but it's mostly weeds. I was excited to try this ready made round up to see if it would help our lawn. To give a snapshot, it lawn was green and lush due to weeds not grass. I will say that when using, do NOT use on a windy day. These chemicals are nothing to play with. After giving it about 2 weeks, I will say that there has not been much improvement in the weed situation in our lawn. I don't think it's with the exposure to these harmful chemicals.

The bottle of the weed killer is ergonomic designed and has to easy-to-open and close lid. The bottle is easy to hold and fits the sprayer. The formula doesn't have a super strong smell and works well on my lawn. It took a couple of applications in some areas but it ended up working out on removing stubborn weeds. Overall nice weed killer. The container is the perfect size for a couple of applications for my yard in the needed area.
I think it needs more time than what was given

I dont know if my lawn has super powers in the hot Oklahoma sun but nothing happened... my lawn looks the same and the weeds are thriving. I am going to keep using it for a few more months because a lot of reviews say it takes a while but I can't in good conscience give a positive review quite yet.

The instructions are fairly easy, attach to hose and put the application to the "on" position. Within 3 seconds of the water being on, the hose connection piece fell off and after numerous attempts we were unable to get it back on to the bottle.

I definitely recommend this if you get those pesky grass weeds! The amount was perfect for my small front yard area.

It was confusing because what I used it on that was in direct sunlight didn’t seem to die, but the weeds in the shady areas did? I have no idea why that happened. It was very easy to use with the water hose, but I don’t think it worked better than similar products I’ve tried. The time of year I was testing could be a factor, it might be better used going into the spring. There was also a strong smell, so if you’re a person who avoids that you would want to go with another product.

Rain can wash the product off the weeds, reducing its effectiveness. Time Since Application: It's important to give the product time to work. While you might see some visible changes within 24 hours, it typically takes 14-28 days to completely kill the weeds. Look for signs like yellowing or browning of the leaves. Target Weed: Our product is designed to target and kill listed broadleaf weeds and nutsedge. It is not effective on grassy weeds. Temperature: The temperature at the time of application can play a role. If the temperature was cooler than 60°F or warmer than 90°F, the weeds might have been dormant. Also, cold nights can sometimes delay results. Drought Stress: Are the weeds drought-stressed? If so, they may not be able to absorb the herbicide effectively. The product label recommends watering 8 hours before and 8 hours after application during dry conditions. Mowing: When was the grass last mowed? Mowing 2 days before or after application can reduce the leaf surface and the plant's ability to absorb the herbicide.

We have gravel and driveway cracks that they pop up through all the time and I can’t stand them. The weeds yellowed like the bottle says, but never shriveled up and died. I don’t like using chemicals to weed anyway, but they’re especially harmful when they don’t work as intended. I’m also skeptical that it wouldn’t yellow the grass as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received RoundUp Concentrate to try for weed control , it’s been very effective in controlling weeds around the sidewalks , driveway & edges of the lawn. the printing on the package was kind of hard to read (small print)but the online content provided by the company was easy to access & understand. i like that it’s a concentrated product, add water as you use, saving storage space & making the bottle easy to carry. i have enjoyed the effectiveness of the Round Up Concentrate in making the lawn look better, i also grow flowers & i didn’t notice any bad effects or damage to the potted plants that were near the weeds that died.

Application was super easy as you just hook your hose up to the bottle and turn your water on so that was a plus but its effectiveness leaves much to be desired. The product's scent/smell is quite strong but thankfully I wore a mask. All in all, it really didn't kill any weeds so it's back to the drawing board for me.

As you can see the weeds and grass are dead and they came up very easily. It didn't have a very strong smell and wasn't even noticeable several hours later, I would definitely recommend!

Unlike other products, I’m not getting worn out trying to spray it. I do think it’s a bit pricey for the size of the bottle and for the amount I would need to treat my yard fully and regularly. I don’t really know all of the grass/weed types in my yard but it appears to be working well on the weeds without harming my variety of southern grasses in my yard.
