Roundup For Lawns4 is a tough weed killer for use on Southern grasses that kills weeds, not the lawn (when used as directed). This product kills 93 types of weeds, including dollarweed, dandelion, clover, and yellow nutsedge (see inside booklet for weed list). It can be used on Southern grasses, including Bermudagrass, Bahiagrass, Centipede, and St. Augustine (including Floratam). The ready-to-use formula with our extended wand makes it ideal for targeting weeds in hard to reach places. In fact, one gallon of Roundup For Lawns4 treats up to approximately 2,000 weeds. This product starts working immediately and is rainproof in 4 hours. Roundup For Lawns4 kills the root so weeds won’t come back. The best time for broadleaf weed applications is when weeds are young, actively growing, and soil moisture is adequate. A: Hello, we recommend when applying Roundup for Southern Lawns4 Ready-to-Use do, not apply within drip-line of trees or shrubs or to exposed roots. Keep 18 to 20 inches away from ornamental plants.

Q: Will this work on sandbur? Is it safe on zoysia grass?

A: Roundup for Southern Lawns4 Ready-to-Use may be applied to dormant bermudagrass, dormant zoysiagrass and dormant bahiagrass. Use caution when applying this product to warm-season turfgrasses when turf is going into dormancy in the fall or coming out of dormancy in the spring as some injury may occur. Sandbur is not included on the list of weeds that this product controls. We would suggest using a product such as Roundup Weed & Grass Killer (Concentrate Plus, Super Concentrate, RTU). But please be aware non-selective controls such as Roundup will damage all vegetation, including the lawn. So if you are using this on your lawn, only use this as a spot treatment for the individual weeds, spray when there is no wing and directly into the center of the weed.

Q: Will it kill my Garden?,i have some of this but am reluctant in using it because i do not want to kill my vegetables is this product ok?

A: The Roundup for Lawns Southern should not be sprayed near your vegetables. Keep 18 to 20 inches away edible plants.

The application process was super easy just attach it to the hose, turn the nozzle, and spray. Within in a few day, I noticed significant difference.

The spray area is great nice if coverage if you move around. I have a well appears to be safe around that with a light spray it has I do not see it making it to the water table. The value is great was a trial. How it impacts the environment should be nominal. I say try it. Just attach to your hose flip the little lever and spray evenly.

I’ve tried pulling them by hand, natural sprays, and even boiling water (don’t ask), but nothing really kept them from coming right back. A friend finally convinced me to give Roundup a shot, and honestly, I’m glad I did. I used it exactly as the label said — on a calm, sunny morning when rain wasn’t in the forecast. Within a day or two, I could already see the weeds shriveling up, and by the end of the week they were completely dead. It didn’t hurt my lawn either, which was my biggest fear. My grass (I have St. Augustine and a little Bermuda mix) stayed green and healthy-looking. One thing I will say: this stuff is strong, so be careful not to overspray near flowers or plants you want to keep. I used a cardboard shield around my garden beds just to be safe. If you’re in the South dealing with stubborn, heat-loving weeds, Roundup really does the job. I wish I’d stopped fighting them sooner and just used this

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed killing spray was packaged and shipped really nicely, which prevented spills. The product is very easy to use. I pulled it out of the box and twisted it onto my water hose outside and cut my water on. It covered a very large area where I had a lot of unwanted growth. It didn’t have a horrible smell, nothing that bothered me. It started working very quickly, by that evening I saw significant wilting and dying. My the next day things were very dead. Within a few days the patch was completely dead and I was able to rake and clear the area. It works quickly, it works well, and it does it for relatively cheap. All without destroying my lawn. A quick cheap fix to a very annoying problem. I will be buying this again.

I live in the south, where heat and weeds can be a constant problem, and this product has worked perfectly without damaging the lawn. The application is very simple: you just connect the hose and spray; the bottle is well designed and distributes the product evenly. After a few days I already noticed how the weeds began to wither, while the grass was still green and healthy. I have used other products before, but many ended up affecting the grass - not this one. I also liked that it controls a wide variety of common weeds in this region (clover, dandelion, crabgrass, etc.). Obviously, you have to follow the instructions to the letter, but if you apply it correctly, it works very well.
