Rowenta Tower Fan Urban Cool Trubo Oscillating Silence Black/Wood: Quiet Cooling Fan for Rooms, Programmable Timer, Remote

Was on sale for half price at a warehouse sale, now I know why.....piece of junk! Only had it for a couple of weeks, worked great at first.....now it just shuts off randomly after a few hours of use.

Pretty fan, but it makes a howling sound when running. Sounds like a distant firetruck. I hate it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan comes with a remote and the base needs installed with the cord out of the box. Takes about 5 minutes to unwrap and plug in. Oscillation works great and has a few fans speeds on a circular dial. The back side has a slot for the remote so you don’t misplace it. At high speed it is still made for a smaller space. Wood look does not look real. A great price for similar fans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this fan. It’s stylish with the wood graining and the black it’s powerful and quiet. I love that it can be oscillating or just stationary. On the highest setting you can definitely feel it across the room and it is so quiet. It’s great having a timer on it, the remote control is a plus so you don’t have to keep getting up and adjusting it if you need to and I love that it tells the temperature of the room that it’s in so you know if it’s cooling down in that room or not. This is the best fan I have ever had and I will definitely be getting another one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It gets pretty hot and muggy from humidity pretty bad where we live but try to avoid putting the air conditioning on until we absolutely have to. The key for us is to have fans going to help circulate and cool is down. This fan was much needed and we’ve used it in the main living room and bedrooms. The wood look to the main tower looks very nice, not cheap looking at all even though it’s actually plastic. The base being black is a nice touch. Fits in with so many different styles of decor. It’s a nice touch having a remote control though I am not able to use ours due to it not coming with a battery and I don’t see anywhere listed where it says which battery it takes (it’s the disk batteries). That is a bit disappointing. Even so the controls are easy and simple to use. Having three settings of fan speeds (1,2,3) and a natural wind setting which alternates between the three. It oscillates quietly though putting the wind speed up to three creates a higher pitched whistling sound which is a little annoying. The lower settings are very quiet. Definitely strong enough air speed to keep you cool. Overall really happy with this fan, though will be MUCH better once I can figure out which battery to use with the remote.

The directions are super easy to follow and only took me a few minutes to set up. I like that it tells you the room temperature on the digital display and I like the oscillating feature. The part I like the most is the part is the part in the back of it to put the remote. In my house remotes get lost very easily and having this little area designated for the remote is genius.

Our upstairs can get warm and it seems to be helping keep his room cooler at night. I really like the slim design. It tucks into a corner and doesn't take up much space. It has great features, such as temperature control and oscilating options. I believe it has 3 fan speeds, a digital temperature read out and is ver quiet. I would definitley recommend this fan!

The fan is a black and wood edition that is ultra slim and ultra light making it easy to move to any location in your home for powerful 3-speed cooling. The fan is silent in nature and easily provides cooling when needed. The fan attaches to the base with easy to follow directions, has an on/off button, 3 speeds, auto mode, natural mode and oscillation mode if you so choose. The amazing feature is a timer that easily sets for 1 hour, 2 hours or 8 hours. I am currently using this tower fan next to my bed and easily fits in a corner and the black and wood edition looks amazing with my decor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this fan because it says that it’s quiet and it is. But it’s more than that. I like the wood look and it goes well in my house. The “natural “ setting is kinda cool; it varies the fan speed sort of like if you were outside. The timer is a nice function for nights when you need a fan but only for a few hours until it cools off. The remote control is super handy and controls all the functions on the fan, not just one or two of them. This is the best fan I’ve ever owned.

The only downside is that the remote does not come with the battery. Also, in the instructions I couldn’t find how to open the compartment for the battery. I finally was able to push this little tiny tub and pull at the same time. Other than that it works great and it has a handy holder for the remote in the back.

There are so many options to make it the perfect fan for YOU. It had 3 different speeds and you can have the air blow straight on you or move around the room.
