The RTIC 45 QT Ultra-Tough Cooler is designed to go the distance on every adventure. Built with rotomolded construction for extreme durability, this midsize cooler can handle anything from camping trips to tailgates and backyard BBQs. With up to 2.8 inches of closed cell foam insulation, it locks in the cold for up to 5 days when following RTIC's cooling tips. With a 45 quart capacity, it fits up to 60 cans, making it perfect for family outings or big gatherings. Carry it comfortably with foam-gripped nylon rope handles, and easily drain with the Rapid V-Drain System. Molded tie-down slots keep it secure in your boat, trailer, or truck bed, while non-skid rubber feet ensure it stays put even on slippery surfaces. The built-in silicone cargo net on the lid stores small essentials, and integrated lock holes let you secure your cooler shut. This cooler is absolutely great in the summer heat. Work on a grading site and this cooler stays on the back of my black flatbed everyday, all day long. Keeps ice extremely well. In the heat we have been getting lately I have only had to put ice in my cooler a couple times a week to keep it topped off. I have guys opening it all day long getting drinks out to stay hydrated. This company is such a great one and every product I have ever purchased from them has been above my expectations, thank you

I loved this cooler. I had previously bought a Yeti Roadster that I returned because my ice was melted the next day. I bought this instead and was pleasantly surprised that I had only put ice blocks in with my food and I didn’t need to add actual ice until the 3rd day! I know the construction of this cooler is more compared to the yeti Tundra but this is cheaper and did a great job! Highly recommend.

We needed to replace the cooler that just happens to fit perfectly on the quad. I have two of the larger ones we use when camping. This slightly smaller one fit perfect and keep everything ice cold.

I’m in construction and bought this cooler to keep waters in. I keep it in my truck throughout the day. It’s been 100 or close all summer so if I had to guess closer to 120-125 in my truck. I’ve stays for roughly two days, and melted ice keeps the water cool all week. Great purchase!

Really like all Rtic products that I owen. I wish they were made in the good Ol US OF A, I believe they are equally as good as you know the other expensive big brands, Really hold ice a long time if you prep cooler correctly, could have been 5 star if it was manufactured in the RED,WHITE AND BLUE.

This is an outstanding value for a cooler , there is one drawback that I have noticed so far. The drain plugs on the bottom of both ends are made of plastic with a seal to seal it off, but is hollow and it does sweat out enough that it looked like it was leaking, I'm going to fill it with some sort of waterproof caulk or insulation type and see how that does. Don't know how the competitors drain plugs are.

Cooler is fine it’s all the garbage junk email a customer recieved after the purchase that is totally totally bothersome! Because of this and your company having no respect for your customers time by sending all you commercialized junk mail I will no longer be purchasing any more products from your company. if asked by friends or colleagues about your product I will have to be honest with them and give your company a thumbs down 👎🏻 and tell them to purchase from a different manufacturer. I’m sure the person that reads this review actually has no idea how many worthless emails a customer is sent post a purchase. Do yourself a favor and take the time to investigate it and you too will see how silly it is. For your company to allow marketing people to blemish your company’s name is a shame!!

Very solid cooler. However, for some reason, it seems like this version either doesn’t seal properly or doesn’t stay as cold as long. I have a bigger version in a different color that stays cold for days… this one as of right now seems about half the time of my first one.
