RTIC Outdoors 52qt Ultra-Light Wheeled Hard Sided Cooler

Gave 2 stars…Seems like a well built cooler, nice wheels and handles but did NOT keep ice for more than one day. Was not even that hot outside 70-80 degrees and ice melted in about 18 hours. Even purchased the cooler divider! So very disappointing spending that kind of money. I do not recommend!

Hard to believe how long ice lasts in this thing. Sturdy build, great wheels/bearings, and quality hinges/clasps. Wish the interior divider was included.

We really loved our 52Q cooler we used it everyday at the pool in Florida for two weeks. Not good for the sand but I knew it wasn’t going to be.

We just took our 52 QT Ultra-Light Wheeled Cooler on its first camping trip and, for the most part, it worked as promised. We prepped it with ice the day before leaving and there was still plenty of ice in it, 3 days later (the length of the camp). A few things really stood out: the wheels are great. They are much higher quality than what we saw from other coolers in stores. I'm not sure another cooler could have taken the rough terrain of our site at Gooseberry Falls SP. This unit rolled uphill over roots and rocks like they were nothing. The handle is also of much higher quality than what we saw. It's real metal and very substantial. The rubber grips had great feel and helped when towing. The one minor drawback is the drain did weep. I made sure it was on tight, but found the floor wet after a night in our truck. All in all, love this cooler and look forward to using it over and over.

Overall we love the cooler but chose to get it customized, within one day it had come off. Now our brand new cooler looks old and ridiculous.

Quality cooler that is great for road trips and gatherings, but will still require lots of ice depending on the climate. Being in South Florida, the cooler an only do so much against the heat.

Nice cooler. Seems quality built. Kept all our food cold with a few bags of ice for three days and probably could’ve went a day longer. They’ll need downside to the size for my wife and I is that we had to keep our drinks in a separate cooler. Apparently, my wife and I need the 72 gallon cooler, but that’s our fault. Highly recommended!

Only down falll is it is a little heavy but that's helps keeps it cold 👍👍👍

This cooler is awesome! High quality, lots of neat features. The wheels are amazing, and the handle is great. Keeps things cool for a long time. We enjoy our new cooler!

I used my RTIC cooler last week for the first on a hot weekend camping and after 3 days my ice had melted. It was the same result as my old cooler. After I got back and researched the issue and I read that there is a whole regiment of prep work that is needed to get better results. Even though I had kept the cooler in my cool house before use and used frozen cool paks before filling it with ice and kept it outside completely under the RV in the cool. I will try the recommended procedure the next trip and if its better I will report those results. But for now I am disappointed.

Everything was good except the drain plug. The first time we put ice in it, the plug leaked. We ended up taking it apart and the edges on the inside were never deburred so it did not seal. I used a utility knife and cut away the sharp edge and it sealed fine after that. Quality control needs to watch for that.

Well made, seems durable. Yeti performance at much better price. On hot summer days in a RV campground you are going to get a couple extra days before you need to re-ice I'm glad I bought one

Really happy with this purchase! Cooler keeps ice and easy to move around even when loaded down with the wheels and handle attachment. Good size drain valve to empty water and lots of room.

Definitely a heavy duty cooler. Maneuvers easily and keeps ice for days.

Love our new Rtic wheeled cooler. Very well made and am sure it will last us forever. Glad I opted for the wheels even though they add a bit of weight. The cooler itself is not light and you think that buying a cheaper brand that may be half the weight might be a good idea, BUT, the real weight is in the liquids, the food, the yogurt, the glass, the ice or ice packs, etc. That cheap one may last a couple of years and it won’t keep things cold long when you nerd it. So get a long lasting, well built Rtic and have it keep ice for days and last for your lifetime. But don’t forget the wheels!

IT IS A GREAT COOLER, WISH I WOULD HAVE KNOWN I COULD OF HAD IT PERSONALIZED BEFORE IT WAS SHIPPED, OTHER WISE HAPPY. . .

In 3 days the sun took off all my logo wasn’t worth it
