RTIC Outdoors 8qt Road Trip Personal Cooler

This is a good size cooler to road trip with. . can easily hold drinks and lunch. Opening it is rather cumbersome as there is no handle or indentation so you just yank on the top Keeps ice for about 3-4 hours before melting so it’s good for a quick day trip but nothing further. For the price, I guess I expected more out of it.

Fails to cool down. I should have bought a bigger size that holds more ice.

I absolutely love the cooler. It’s the right size for one person and keeps my drinks nice and cold.

The 1st order in the mint color - was good - but this second order was better with insulation- my problem is the locking system will not hold when the box accidentally trip in the car trunk area where I have no access to during the long car ride- good isolation ( so good it’s hard to open the lid, definitely helps ! ) I wish there was something to help the lid not open when the handle comes down ( I might to wrap a bungee cord around >. <) Overall, mostly happy with size, price and performace ( keep it cold ) !!!

Lid locking mechanism doesn't hold up to the cooler having some ice and drinks inside. It falls short of what I expected! I believe just using a simple strap would of made it a much better product. Just wasn't expecting such a bad flaw in the product because I've ordered other rtic coolers and absolutely love them

Just received and am disappointed that the sticker on the front of the cooler will not peel off. I will have to scrape it which will scratch the surface of this cute cooler. The lid is also a bit hard to open as there is not a ledge or catch to grab. Have not used yet to comment on cooling performance. Stars for being cute and a good size.

Sturdy, stays cold, holds a lot more than I thought, hubby loved it!

It's the perfect size, however it does not hold ice. I may get an hour or two, then it's all water. I even use the ice packs to help with it. Now, it has been in the 90's here, so I'm hoping that cooler weather will change this. Unfortunately, I need it when it's hot.

Haven’t had a year yet and the lid pops open when carrying it. There seems to be nothing wrong with the seal or handle. Maybe I received a lemon but wouldn’t order it again

This product came exactly as it said and I love the customization with my name on top!! The colors are gorgeous and the quality is great!

I was finally able to try out this cooler on a road trip. It was small enough to fit where I needed it to with no apparent leaking and it did keep my drinks cold, when iced down. However, the lid could probably use some re-engineering to allow it to open easier with one hand and, although everything stayed cold, there was excessive external condensation on the bottom which left my floor carpet wet.

My truck has less space for a cooler. This one fits.

Great little cooler to use to carry a few drinks and your lunch for the day. It is just like the bigger version and keeps everything cold for long period of time.

We bought this to replace our Rubbermaid to keep ice longer. It is no better than our Rubbermaid. Very disappointed due to the higher cost. Thank you, Chris Crandlemire

Loved the cooler and the ability to personalize it. I would have loved to have the personalization color match the same green on the cooler, but I couldn’t find that so I had to go with black. Wish there was a redo….

Its a bit difficult to open, and even tho the measurements were listed it still seems too small. I was thinking a bottle could be stood upright but it has to be laid on its side. Makes it difficult to dig thro a could kinds.

Does not hold ice for very long and that’s even inside house with air conditioning. . Very disappointing for the price you pay.
