Got this as a back up carseat for my mom's car so she can help with transport as needed. Since it isnt being used every day, I had a hard time justifying getting an expensive seat like the one we have in my car, but I obviously still need to feel like my baby is safe all the time. after looking at crash test ratings and comparing options, we picked this one and I am happy with it! It's a good, basic convertible with nice padding and safety ratings that won't break the bank. There aren't fancy convenience features added, but that's not what we really needed. I feel completely safe with my daughter in this seat and it was affordable and fairly easy to install. Win!

I would not recommend this car seat to anyone. The straps do not work correctly and won’t tighten the way they should, which makes me feel like it’s unsafe for my child. On top of that, the fabric ripped far too easily, and I’ve only owned it for about 6 months. The cup holders were already cracked when I received it, and for the price I paid, I was very upset to receive it already broken. For something this important and expensive, I expected much higher quality. Very disappointed because I usually love this brand:(

It’s a pretty good car seat. I have no problem with it as a car seat. The only big problem that will probably be my third be my 13 reason is that the cupholders are so easy to twist off that my toddler is constantly grabbing them and throwing them on the floor. It’s so annoying.

Looks comfortable but it’s not easy to install in all cars. My car is a 2011 Mercedes suv and it took me 1 hour to install. The car seat kept moving especially cause it’s leather seat, I had to use the car seat belt for extra security because the hooks alone wasn’t enough. So if u want extra security put the car seat belt through the same way the belt hook hardness is at.

Spider Webs?!

The one star rating is not for the seat. But the condition in which it arrived. The box was ripped opened and the seat wasn’t in a protective bag. When we removed it from the box it had spider webs all on the back of the seat and in the box. I returned it out of concern of the baby getting bit by the spider.

If I could give this car seat 0 stars I would we got it just over a year ago for my son and it’s been nothing but problems since. The cups holders come out so easily my one year old was pulling them out. The headrest cover does not stay on and he pulls it off. LUCKILY he hasn’t broken the styrofoam yet. The harness will slowly widen on you to the point it’s constantly falling no matter what you do with it. Pinch test, loosen straps, extra tighten, bump the head rest up. THEY WILL FALL DOWN. My point is literally avoid this car seat and this brand. Waste of money.

So far, I like the carseat. I got this as an upgrade from an infant carrier for my 1.5 year old twins Instructions were easy to understand, and setup was easy enough. It provided more space for the front seats on the 2nd recline setting. My babies looked very comfortable in the seats. My reason for 4 stars is I got 2 of the same carseats that have the same manufacturing date and model number but they have different buttons for the waist clip.

Impossible to move I had to buy another one because everyone that’s tried installing this in their car it takes them 10+ minutes to try and adjust everything. I get winded in this Texas heat trying to put this thing in the car.

This was a back-up car seat for my mom’s car. Rarely used over the last couple years but has become impossible to move or adjust. It’s a cheaply made car seat.

A little flimsy, padding is really thin, and hard to adjust. One the number one setting, the seat is past upright and leaving forward. The angle is not correct. Spend a little more and get a better one

This carseat is so difficult to take out of your car once it is installed. The button that you squeeze to release the tension does nothing, and the strap is pulling against itself in a way that it does not loosen. I have had to absolutely wrestle with this thing multiple times when I need to take the carseat out of my vehicle. I drive a minivan and thankfully the seats recline enough to loosen up and I can remove the strap, but if you have this seat installed in a smaller vehicle and you don't have room to work around, you might end up having to cut the straps to get it out; they are that bad. Upside: the seat is comfortable. My passenger got into a routine of taking her daily nap in the carseat, so she was clearly comfy enough in there. It was no trouble to install the seat. It has just been a nightmare to remove it.

Do not waste your money on these car seats. Def spend the extra $$ on a better one. Straps get stuck and don’t tighten like they should and toddler is super uncomfortable. And I hate I spent that much on something that has already messed up within the year. I’ve contacted safety 1st support and no response!! My review is after using for a few months.
