Missing a very important feature
This 50" was a birthday gift from our son to my wife. It replaces our 44-yr old 600 lb set that just would not die. While we love the improved picture, the big drawback is that it doesn't automatically jump to the HD channel when you input the SD channel number that we have used forever. I needed to make a conversion chart we have to refer to whenever we turn it on or change the channel. Even our old cheapo sets can do this useful task automatically.

Hi Pablo, Thank you for sharing your experience. Buffering during streaming is typically related to internet speed or signal strength. This can happen when your connection isn’t able to deliver data quickly enough for smooth playback. We recommend the following steps to help improve streaming performance: 1. Use a 5GHz Wi-Fi connection, if available 2. Try a wired LAN connection for more stability 3. Reposition your router to minimize obstacles between it and the TV 4. Make sure your TV is running the latest firmware (Settings > Support > Software Update) 5. Run Device Care to optimize performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care If buffering continues, you may want to contact your internet service provider to check your current speed or explore upgrade options. To explore picture mode options, navigate to: Home > Left directional button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode. Options include: • Standard – Ideal for general viewing • Dynamic – Brighter and more vibrant for well-lit spaces • Eco – Optimized for energy efficiency • Movie – Best for viewing in low light • Filmmaker Mode – Preserves the content creator’s intent and disables motion smoothing for supported content You can further customize your image by going to: Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, where you can adjust Brightness, Contrast, Color Tone, Sharpness, Contrast Enhancer and more. If you’d like help fine-tuning your display or exploring these settings, please call Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, available 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week, or visit the ‘Support’ section on our website to LiveChat with an agent. ~Samsung Advisor

Prior SAMSUNG removes used numbers which were WHITE that people can see. NO circles and ALL BLACK SMALL DIALS AND BUTTONS. Absurb!!!!! Who do you think you big corporations are???? Hi MACADOODY, Thank you for sharing your experience. Samsung remotes are designed to offer convenient control, but we understand if you’d prefer to use a universal remote. Many third-party remotes work well with Samsung TVs, though setup steps may vary by brand and model. You can also use previous Samsung TV remotes, as long as they work with an Infrared Sensor. To get started, we recommend checking the manufacturer’s instructions for programming codes and pairing methods. If you run into any trouble or have compatibility questions, Samsung Support is happy to help. You can reach us at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat agents are also available at the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~Samsung Advisor

Super nice TV
So far, so good. Easy to use. First TV that I don't need to still use a fire stick. Nice to have only one remote. Picture and sound are great.

Love my new tv
This thing is amazing, love the picture and samsung tv. It was easy to connect to my apps. I have a samsung tablet and phone, so connecting to them is super easy. The only thing I would complain about is the small remote, I prefer something with numbers on it, not push a button to have the numbers appear on screen

Great Value 4K TV
Samsung is known for its TVs and this TV is very good. The High Dynamic Range (HDR) and the 4K resolution are better than average and for the price this is an excellent value TV. A Fiber optic would have been nice for my soundbar, but this TV doesn't have one of those kinds of outputs. Also worth to note it only have 2 HDMI inputs. One of the negivitves about this TV is the Smart Hub is underpowered and tends to freeze and have to be reserted to fix the issue. I love my AppleTV (4K HDR) with this TV and have no issues this way, plus I get higher quality output then the SmartHub with Apps are able to output.

Great TV
I have received a free Crystal UHD U7900F 43" through Verizon. Samsung made the process quite easy and I am absolutely in love with the TV. It has instant startup. You can change whether it starts up on a "home" screen where you can see all the apps OR if it starts up in the app you last had it on. It can turn on your consoles by going to those channels IF you choose. If you don't want it to, you have to change the settings in your console. The picture is crystal clear. The internet connection stays solid. Any connectivity issues I have were on the client side, not the TV side. The resolution is so high that I can see every minute detail of what's being displayed, so much so that it looks like real life.

Don’t do it.
Am I the only one that has to fight with this TV to connect to the internet? All my LG TVs are always just connected automatically when I turn them on. This TV tells me every time I turn it on that it’s not connected when it is. So I have to go to the settings EVERY TIME I turn it on cause “it’s not connected to the internet “. Also the picture isn’t the best. This is my first time having a Samsung TV and thank god it was free cause I would NEVER pay for this.

JustHere, Thank you for sharing your experience with the internet connection on your Samsung U7900F TV. Whether you're using Wi-Fi or a wired (LAN) connection, there are a few steps you can take to help resolve the issue: 1. Power Cycle Your Equipment. Unplug both your TV and router/modem from the wall outlet. Wait at least 30 seconds, then plug them back in and allow both devices to fully restart. 2. Check the Network Status. On your TV, go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Network Status. This will help determine if the issue lies with the network or the TV. 3. Try a Different Connection Type. If you're using Wi-Fi, try connecting an Ethernet (LAN) cable directly from your router to the TV to test the connection. If you're using a wired connection, try switching to Wi-Fi to see if the issue persists. 4. Reestablish the Network Connection. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > Network > Open Network Settings, and follow the prompts to reconnect to your Wi-Fi or wired network. 5. Update Firmware. Software updates can often resolve network bugs. To check for the latest version: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now If these steps don't resolve the issue, we’d be happy to provide further assistance. Please call Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week. LiveChat is also available at the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Specialist

It’s a BLUR
Don’t buy this TV if you watch sports. Everything has tracers and not clear during a game. The 60 refresh rate is wholly Insufficient. Idk how you can make a tv that literally doesn’t show a clear picture. I understand the price Point but as consumer I am counting on th tv to show a clear picture, not the best but clear. This tv does NOT do that. I have a 65” TCL with the same 60 refresh rate and NEVER has this problem. If I could do it over I would spend whatever is needed to get at least a 120 refresh rate

Hi, Thank you for your feedback on the Samsung U7900F TV and your experience when watching fast-motion content. If the picture appears blurry or unnatural during high-speed scenes, there are several settings you can adjust to improve motion clarity. Go to: Home > left directional key > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings, and review these key settings: Picture Clarity Settings • Off: Disables all motion enhancement • Auto: Automatically adjusts motion clarity based on content • Custom: Enables manual control of: o Judder Reduction: Smooths motion in film-based content o LED Clear Motion: Increases sharpness during fast movement o Noise Reduction: Helps reduce distortion in lower-quality sources Additional Picture Controls • Brightness – Adjust overall image brightness • Contrast – Controls the difference between light and dark areas • Sharpness – Enhances the definition of object edges • Color – Adjusts color intensity for more natural or vivid tones We hope these settings help improve your viewing experience, especially with fast-moving content. If you'd like further assistance, feel free to reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG, 8AM – 12AM EST, 7 days a week. Low end samsung 4k tv.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the new styling of the menus. Nice integration with my phone. Very easy to start dex or smartview. It even has an experimental ai search feature when you open the smarthings remote app for the tv it has an Ai button that triggers it. It shows the actors and related shows to what's on the screen.
