This used to be SO good, not anymore. The Sara Lee Butter Pound Cake is now very dry and not a hint of buttery taste at all. The worst is the dryness, it's so dry you need to literally put something on it to be able to eat it or it unedible, it's that dry. I still have half in the freezer my husband will eventually eat it with a ton of coffee over it. Definitely not as it used to be, these pound cakes used to be so good, now they are not at all.

This poundcake isn't as good as it used to be. You used to literally taste the butter. Now, it tastes like nothing. Just air. They've obviously switched up the recipe; probably to cut costs. Very disappointed but if it's for business reasons, I understand. Just know if you're used to the really buttery taste of this, it no longer tastes like that. It's not nasty. It's not good. It's just blah. I guess if you had to, you could doctor it up with some fresh berries. That would probably help.
