Tried to take it off my wall and it ripped the paint right off. I now have to repaint my entire living room.

The adhesive doesn't stick
I use these velcro strips to attach expo markers to my classroom desks. Normally the fuzzy half will stay attached to the expo for at least one semester. This year, they have not even lasted two weeks. This is not a student issue, the kids are treating them in the exact same manner they always have. I've been doing this for years and have not had problems in the past, perhaps I used other brands before. The scratchy/loop part of the velcro is still staying attached to the desks, just not the fuzzy part.

There was obviously a problem that has now been resolved. They peeled off of their backing easily and worked as expected. I'm using them to hold up a calendar and also to make the numbers easier to move around.

If there was a way to give ZERO STARS
Terrible product!! I'm so disappointed Scotch! I had this simple project I was working on and couldn't even do it because these fasteners with their permanent adhesive are permanently stuck to the plastic backing. UGH. Too much hassle, and such a waste of money.

These were not easy to work with. The velcro patches were difficult to remove from the paper, but then wouldn't stick to my cubicle wall. Everything crashed after about 10 minutes, even with added patches.
