Received item. The mattress and plastic mattress cover are vacuumed sealed. Once out of the seal and the air released, I tried to zip the cover around the foam mattress and the zipper ripped at the seams. The zipper seam pulled several inches from the mattress cover. The mattress fit into the mattress cover, but the zipper construction was so poorly made, it ripped apart almost immediately. Truly unbelievable. This was not a case of a cover being to small for a mattress. Dangerous for a baby as well. I will purchase a better quality mattress to ensure the safety of the baby. Also, there were a few dark smudge marks on the interior of the mattress cover. I have zip up hoodies from the 1990s that still work. Quality is not what it use to be.

I’ve had this mattress for 2 years. Did well until right at the 2 year mark. It’s crack and ripping. A good standard mattress for cribs/ toddler beds should last 5 years. This didn’t last long.

Zipper and seam broke immediately putting the cover on. Also it has a tag showing infant side vs toddler but I really couldn’t even tell the infant side was more firm.

This is a good solid mattress in a box. It doesn't take long for it to reach its full size and was comfortable for my little one. All of my toddler sheets fit and will make a great refresh for a mattress that needs to be replaced after two babies.

We have been using Sealy brand mattress from the time our baby was born. Now when the baby is at the age of the potty training Ofcourse we were looking for Sealy brand mattress again. The Sealy Butterfly 2-Stage Crib and Toddler Mattress is perfect for us as now I don’t have to worry about using the mattress protector as the mattress itself has that protection feature.

What a great idea, love that this hybrid mattress that is perfect for infant through toddler. One side is firmer for infants for safety and ability to flip to a softer side for toddlers as they grow. Comes with a zip mattress protector, is a bit noisy to move around on, but perfect for accidents.

This is one of the best matresses I've every received. I have 4 kids and my youngest is 10 months old. I decided to give this one a try since his old one got ruined and its perfect. The quality is breathable and sturdy. I highly recommend this to anyone!

This mattress will be the only one you need. It has a firmer side.for infants to help promote safe sleep. The other size is for toddlers. They are clearly labeled as.well. it works right out of the box, just cut off the plastic and let it fluff up. My little loves her nee mattress.

if you are looking for a mattress that is versatile and comfortable, you have found it. When I had my second child, I didn’t want to be wasteful. Whatever we bought for the baby, I wanted it to be able to last for a while and multi-purpose. What I love about this mattress is that one side is firm and the other side is not so firm.you have an infant side and a toddler side !

Sealy makes seriously awesome mattresses, but this isn't one of them. Multiple kids of ours have slept for years on Sealy 2-stage mattresses, and perhaps it's because this one is "ultra-firm," but our 2-1/2 year old's sleep immediately tanked when we switched her to this mattress. I had my 4 & 6 year olds try it out, and they weren't fans either. Both sides are far too firm for our kids to enjoy it. That said, it's got a waterproof, zip-off cover, which is AWESOME. THAT is a feature every parent should look for. But I would not recommend you get this particular mattress to enjoy that feature.

Fits well into the crib and comes with a waterproof cover which helps immensely! It is two sided so you can flip it over when you have a toddler so they get a bit of a softer mattress. The firm side for babies feels nice and firm- so safe!

The Sealy Butterfly 2-Stage Crib and Toddler Mattress is a must have. It arrived vacuumed sealed inside a box. Open the mattress and it starts to expand. Per the directions it says to let it expand for 48 hours. The mattress is a firmer high density foam side for the infant and a more comfortable soybean memory foam side of coziness for the toddler. The sides are identified on the sewn tag of the mattress. I like that the mattress comes with a waterproof zip off cover to keep the mattress dry from any accidents. The cover is breathable and fits the mattress snugly. Fits snug in the crib. I absolutely recommend this mattress. The mattress is Hypoallergenic. It measures 52 x 28 inches. A quality mattress that is perfect for the little one. Another perk to the mattress is that it is made in the USA!

The mattress is a good standard thickness. It fits all the crib sheets I have easily with an extra fitted sheet under it. The mattress is very water proof and easy to clean. The water proofing is loud (I can hear the plastic crinkle when I set my daughter down) and it’s not at all a breathable material, which means it can be hot. I solved both these issues by putting my own mattress protector over the mattress before putting on a crib sheet. Overall, a great mattress with great protection which is definitely needed with small children. PROS: easy to clean, well made, proper dimensions, proper firmness, nice and thick bed, high quality, has 2 different firmnesses in one mattress. CONS: loud, not breathable material, I couldn’t see which firmness setting was on which side. Would definitely recommend to a friend or family member.
