    Dio in the middle

    I bought this mattress on July 2025 and seemed pretty cool. But, yes, just like all the other reviews talk about that dip in the middle.. it’s true. Idk if it can cause back problems for babies or even toddlers but every time I stare at it it stresses me out because I thought it was a problem with the crib and not the mattress since this mattress seemed high quality. But, unfortunately it’s not high quality and now I have the urge to buy my baby a new mattress. Yes , the reviews are true. Eventually the mattress starts dipping in the middle.

    Dead spot within 2.5 months

    At first I liked this mattress. Looked nice and good quality, a little noisy due to it being water resistant so if you have a light sleeping baby, this will give you a head ache. That, I was able to get over but within 2.5 months I already noticed a sag in the middle of the mattress. Now 4.5 months of use I'm going to have to buy another mattress because the sag is worse and noticeable just by looking at it.

    Unsafe

    Used less than 3 months and there is a significant dip in the middle of the mattress. You can visibly tell where my baby lays, even though I rotate which side his head is on. Incredibly disappointed and would never recommend this. He recently started rolling and now this mattress is 100% unsafe if he's on his belly.

    Dirty, non usable

    I ordered this baby mattress with the expectation that it would be clean, safe, and ready to use for my baby. Unfortunately, what I received was completely unacceptable. The mattress arrived torn, filthy, and covered in black marks. It was so dirty that the grime transferred to my hands just from handling it. To make matters worse, I’m now stuck on the phone being transferred back and forth between departments while trying to care for sick kids and a baby who urgently needs a proper bed. I ordered this mattress because my baby is starting to crawl out of his bassinet, and now I’m left without a safe sleeping option. The timing and inconvenience couldn’t be worse. After waiting several days for delivery, I expected a product that was ready to use—not one that’s dirty, damaged, and completely unusable. For a product that costs over $100, this is incredibly disappointing. I’ve attached photos showing the condition the mattress arrived in—they speak for themselves.

    RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN.

    I bought this September of 2024 and it is now August for 2025. It’s sagging in the middle. Bowing, my toddler won’t stay asleep. This started like 3 months ago but I was delusional and was like now way it’s bowing… dad said something yesterday and I was like ugh….

    Fits in crib far better than the other 2 stage sealy

    Unlike the more expensive 2 stage sealy, this mattress fits tightly in the crib and also is firm enough for toddlers and infants.

    Mattress with Canyon dip in middle after less than 1 year.

    Well I purchased this mattress in mid August 2024, and here we are mid August 2025, and this mattress is sadly headed for a landfill. Our son had a Newton crib Mattress that we gave to his new baby sister, and replaced that amazing mattress with this one. Let’s be honest, young toddler boys can be roudy and rough on things, so maybe you can chalk up some of this mattress wearing out to that (he does love playing in his crib from time to time) but I wouldn’t assume that the mattress would get the canyon sized dip in the middle like this. The poor boy was rolling into the center of this mattress not even 1 year into its life. Even after flipping it a couple times, this thing broke down. It just did not hold up. I’m sure there is some warranty that I could pursue, but it’s just not worth it. I certainly would not get another Sealy. I’m opting for. A Graco Foam crib mattress. In my experience, a more firm foam mattress will hold up for longer even enduring toddler abuse. Personally, I’d steer clear of this one.

    Breathable

    This has been great not that out 6 month old is sleeping on his belly. That top layer of mesh makes it easy for him to breathe and its still firm for him to get the support

    Sinking

    My baby is 4 months and only 13 lbs and it already is sinking in the middle. It hasn’t held up very well.

    I would give this 5 stars, but it showed up with a huge water stain. It was easy to exchange in store, just didn’t want to lug it there!

    Not cost efficient

    Less than 6 months and we are considering purchasing a new mattress. Sinks in the middle, not firm enough and my 6 month old just cant sleep on it...pay a little more for something else to last longer

    Dirty Awful Specs when unzipped BEWARE!

    Brand new, bought yesterday. Unzipped the waterproof layer today and found dirty dark spots in the cotton layer. Looks like bugs and dirt. Will be returning to target asap. Looks like this is the not the first review of this same problem. Please beware!

    Meh, it's alright.

    So my child has now slept on this for 5 months. The middle is caving in. She sleeps well and is comfortable with it though. Definitely have a noticeable to the eye dent in the middle, she is a smaller baby weighing only 17.5 pounds at 1 year. So I imagine if your baby is bigger, you’d probably run into the same problem. 4 stars just because she is comfortable, I would not be.

    Brand New Mattress Dirty When Unzipped

    I never write reviews but had to share! I purchased this mattress in-store today, and was horrified when I found debris/what looked like bug sheddings in the mattress when I got home!! BEWARE. I read through the reviews and saw one person mention unzipping the mattress and pulling back the first cotton layer to find what looked like bugs/bed bug shedding, and I thought maybe it was from something else and maybe she assumed it came in the mattress.. but I’m SO glad she shared her experience because the same thing happened to me!! I returned the mattress right away and thankfully avoided a potential bedbug infestation. How can a brand new mattress be sold like this?! It was in the plastic wrapping and everything. PLEASE CHECK YOUR MATTRESS BEFORE USING.

    Perfect Addition to A Toddler Bed!

    We were excited to add this to our toddlers crib/toddler bedroom! It fit perfectly and felt very comfortable when adding it to the bed frame. We love the material and even found it easy to spot clean as needed!
