It’s a neutral white color so it can fit into any color decor. It really does look like a seashell. Once you open it up, there’s quite a bit of room to put small items in. Of course, I’m using it to put my tiny rocks and seashells in!

I love the fact that this box has a lid, because it will allow for storage of things like hair ties, while preventing them from collecting dust. The matte, bright white finish makes this piece look like it came from a boutique at the beach, instead of the same place I buy frozen pizza. It is ceramic and fragile, so I would not place it within the reach of a young child or near pets. I photographed mine with a Kendra necklace and silk hair tie inside, for scale.
