Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Mint toothpaste is a dual action toothpaste that's specifically designed to help people who have both sensitivity and early gum problems. With its low abrasion formula, Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Mint is formulated to relieve tooth sensitivity and improve gum health at the same time. Common triggers for tooth sensitivity might include cold food or drinks, hot food or drinks, sugary or sour foods, or breathing in cold air. Gum problems can go hand-in-hand with tooth sensitivity. Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum builds a protective layer over sensitive areas of the teeth, while targeting and removing plaque bacteria to help reduce swollen, bleeding gums. You can take control of both sensitivity and gum problems with one specialized toothpaste.

Apply at least a 1-inch strip of the product onto a soft bristle toothbrush. Brush teeth thoroughly for at least 1 minute twice a day (morning and evening), and not more than 3 times a day, or as recommended by a dentist or doctor. Make sure to brush all sensitive areas of the teeth. Minimize swallowing. Spit out after brushing.Children Under 12 Years of Age

The differences between this toothpaste and Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Whitening toothpaste are in the cleansing agents, flavoring components, and quantitative differences in the ingredients used in their formulations.

Helps with sensitive teeth
Tried this because my friend with gum rescission swears by it (yeah, we talk about our gums). I now use it periodically when my teeth are feeling sensitive and it helps a lot. I would use it more often if it were SLS free.

I’ve been using Sensodyne Sensitivity Gum & Enamel for a few weeks, and it really helps with my tooth sensitivity. The mint flavor is refreshing without being too strong. It’s a bit pricier than regular toothpaste, but totally worth it for the comfort and protection it provides. Rejection without defects. The teeth became less sensitive and the bleeding gums disappeared.

This really works!
I complained to my dentist that my teeth and gums have been extra sensitive lately, and he recommended that I try the sensodyne sensitive gum and enamel toothpaste. I used it for a few weeks and I definitely noticed a difference after that second week. I continue to use and my teeth and gums very rarely cause me discomfort. If you are having similar issues I recommend you give it a try!
