Description
Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Mint toothpaste is a dual action toothpaste that's specifically designed to help people who have both sensitivity and early gum problems. With its low abrasion formula, Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum Mint is formulated to relieve tooth sensitivity and improve gum health at the same time. Common triggers for tooth sensitivity might include cold food or drinks, hot food or drinks, sugary or sour foods, or breathing in cold air. Gum problems can go hand-in-hand with tooth sensitivity. Sensodyne Sensitivity & Gum builds a protective layer over sensitive areas of the teeth, while targeting and removing plaque bacteria to help reduce swollen, bleeding gums. You can take control of both sensitivity and gum problems with one specialized toothpaste.

My go to. I like that this one doesn’t have whitening since it causes more sensitivity and defeats the purpose.

Just a heads up: This toothpaste contains stannous fluoride, which can be an irritant for some people. I wasn’t aware I was sensitive to it until I used this product and experienced the same issues I’d had with another gum-health toothpaste containing the same ingredient—mouth sores, swollen gums, and general discomfort. I do love other Sensodyne products, as long as they don’t include stannous fluoride.

Works great for me dentist recommended it a couple years ago, I will say it is getting hard to find lately though but when I do I grab some. the flavor is subtle not to strong. Packaging is a little tricky they make one that is whitening and I prefer not to use that one sometimes I get them mixed up!! the texture is smooth and glides easily. Great for sensitivity relief if you use it daily it helps a whole lot.

Sensodyne really helps improve gum health. It's for sensitive teeth and gums. Sensodyne helps prevent cavities. The mint flavor tastes delicious and minty.

This toothpaste has a nice consistency and isn’t gritty like some can be. It’s a nice mint flavour and after use my teeth feel fresh and clean. It’s no more expensive than others and really keeps me feeling fresh

After decades without brushing teeth, I developed real problems including losing teeth, etc. Then, cold sensitivity set in. I bought Sensodyne and after 3 days that was CURED. And I have had no problems since. No problems of any kind! Saved a little dignity for this octogenarian!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My gums seem to be in better shape after using the Sensodyne for 6 months, and the taste is fine. I do, however, wish that they would wake up and put the flip top top on them! You know, two hands versus one hand. Thank you, Lance D

I’ve been using Sensodyne Mint Sensitive & Gum for a few weeks now, and it has made a noticeable difference. I have very sensitive teeth and occasional gum irritation, and this toothpaste really helps with both. It provides a gentle clean without causing any discomfort, and the fresh mint flavor leaves my mouth feeling clean and refreshed. Since using it regularly, I’ve experienced less sensitivity when eating or drinking hot and cold foods. My gums also feel healthier and less inflamed. I appreciate that it’s designed for both sensitivity and gum care, which saves me from using multiple products.

The tube is ridiculously small now. Charging the same price for 2/3 of what the product used to be in size is a slap in the face of the consumer.
Beware the chemical changes

I've been a loyal sensodyne user for many years, until recently, using mainly the Pronamel line of pastes. My last purchase, I decided I'd try the Sensitivity & Gum toothpaste. Whooo-eeee was that a mistake on my part. The chemical make up of this paste is different than the pronamel, and my mouth was in terrible shape! Coincidentally I also changed my diet at the same time as switching toothpastes, but because I was still using Sensodyne, I assumed the diet was the issue. My gums screamed at me with every brushing, they cut open at even the gentlest wipe of my toothbrush, my teeth felt "loose", and I had blisters along the inside of my lips. For the last several months I've been adjusting things in my diet to make a change, and nothing changed. Two days ago, a lightbulb moment happened, and I went out to get myself my "old" toothpaste (Sensodyne Pronamel Gentle Whitening). Already a huge difference. sores are healed, I'm back to brushing without bleeding or pain, AND the flavor's better too (Alpine Breeze for the win)! I wish there was some notice or warning that the formulas were so different - who looks at active ingredients in toothpaste?
