Do NOT buy this
Do not buy this. Absolute waste of $. We had it for less than 2 hours opened and it’s broke. It won’t make noise, won’t do anything. Just broke after 2 hours of play. And I’m not driving back to the store to return as I have twins and it’s a hassle to take them anywhere most days. So upset and mad we wasted our money on this product

It's loud when in store once you buy it and pull the plastic tab in the back the volume is very low.. and kids don't like it anyway

I'm tired of being told how horrible button batteries are and yet they still put them in toys for toddlers. This elmo phone is no exception. It could easily hold AAA batteries. The battery door was moving when I opened it.

Poor design
The speaker is on the back so it can't be heard well, especially when laying it down. Poor design. The buttons also aren't very easy to push and the on/off slider at the bottom is poorly designed also. My son loves Elmo, but this is not exciting to him at all.
