Amazing lightweight vacuum
I am so glad I purchased this vacuum. My floors have literally never been cleaner. We have such an issue getting all the hair cleaned out of the carpets but this cleans my carpet and area rugs with ease. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver and has a nice long cord. It’s a little top heavy and it falls over if I leave it standing for a minute to unplug or move something, but it’s really not that big of a deal. The sale price is well worth it and I probably would have paid regular price too knowing how great this has worked for my home.

Look, I bought this vacuum 11 years ago for 180 bucks. It still works just fine. Treat it with love, clean the filters and it's made to last. I just bought a new one to use upstairs becuase Ineeded a better vacuum for downstairs too. Don't waste money on robot vaccumes or battery powered one.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This is the second Shark upright vacuum I've owned. The exact same thing has happened to both: the hose cracked, making the vacuum unusable because the suction no longer works. While my first vacuum lasted four years, I purchased this one less than a year ago, and it is already broken. I tried looking up how to fix the hose, but the process is too complicated. It's not worth the trouble. Save your money and purchase another brand.

Don't buy this 'single use" vacuum
I own the prior version of this vacuum and love it so much I decided to purchase this one as a gift. It is nothing like the one I have - cheaply made with a major design flaw. Unlike mine you can’t empty the dust bin without bringing the entire unit and cord over to the trash and good luck washing out the dust bin since it doesn’t detach. No light to help you see. Beater bar doesn’t handle pet hair as well as prior version, and the motor and power switch feel like they were meant to last 3 uses max. Sad to see Shark lower the quality so much to increase their profit margins. I returned the vacuum after one week.
