There is a contoured rubber grip that makes the pen comfortable and overall because it’s plastic it’s very lightweight and easy to use. I highly recommend these pens. When purchasing these gel pens, be sure to pay attention to the ink color. It matches the shiny area that is right above the grip. The ink flowed smoothly while I wrote with it; however, I was able to make this pen version smear. Writing a short list, it smeared but it had long enough to dry when I was writing on lined paper (like taking notes). Quick art sketches also smeared. I like the white pen. The grip is okay. The “comfort grip” isn’t too bad either (not amazing but so far, I like it and it’s not sticky which is great).
