I have used the JBOC leave in for literally almost a decade now and all of a sudden it’s making my hair frizzy? At first I noticed that the formula was white and it smelled more like perfume instead of play dough like it normally does. I was skeptical but I went ahead and used it anyway. I have NEVER experienced this with this leave in. I am sooooo disappointed that my favorite product has been changed with literally no consideration for the people using it. CHANGE IT BACK!

I put this leave-in after using the Jamaican oil shampoo and it dried my hair badly, destroyed my curls. After 20 minutes of applying it my hair was like a bird nest!! So dry and tangled that I had to cut it off ,very upsetting when its length was down my waist. I have fine very frizzy 3c curls hair and I had high hopes for this brand to work.

By looking at the list of ingredients of this conditioner, on this website, I was so excited to try this conditioner. So I went and bought a jar, the problem is the ingredients differ on the jar I bought. They differ in ingredients listed and in the order they appear on my jar. The major difference is, the the jar I bought has "fragrance (parfum)" as an ingredient but I don't see that listed here. Thankfully, I did not open it and hopefully they will reimburse me. I didn't expect to have such an ingredient in a so called "clean product". Please be FAIR in listing the ingredients here. Therefore, I rate this product ZERO since I will not get to test it unless I find a jar like the one pictured here on this site with no "fragrance (parfum)" in it.

I've been using this leave-in for year and it's in rotation with another leave-in. This leaves my 3bc curls soft. I use it right after washing and conditioning, and before applying my hair gel. One of the few products left from SM that they haven't negatively tampered with. Highly recommended!! Especially, if you need a little boost of protein in between your protein treatments or their Bond Repair masque.

I love this product but recently started having a pretty bad reaction to hair products with gluten. I have been gluten free for 15 years but missed it in this product. Parts of my allergy reaction includes hair loss and breakage as well as other things that heavily impact my daily life.

We have extreme hardwater in Northern BC. I daw this guy use this as a regular on a reel ND checked out products. The shampoo is awesome and works great for body wash. I don't feel as dry. This leave in conditioner works okay on hear. But great or hands , face and feet deep cream. Works better than lotion

Hello I have used 4-5 times after shampooed hair I apply this and then comb it. But I feel hard and roughness. Can you please tell me the correct way to apply or use. I've wavy hairs . And I don't know not soothing my hairs.

Been using Thai for years. Only thing that works on my hair because of frizzy curls. My only complaint is that I can’t buy a gallon of this stuff and once!!!

I am a man and if I put not hair gel or something on my hair before I go out it dries to a frizz look. I always put some kind of curl cream to stop this and hold curls on top while having smooth sides. Tried this product as an accident at a cousins house on a stayover on a trip. It worked so well and did not have a stiff or hardened feel to it that I got my own and love it and did the research not knowing what Black Castor Oil was and found the change in the oil when the bean is roasted it has an increased content of what is good for the strength and regrowth of the hair follicle. I have been using a jar of it that was made with Shea Butter, Peppermint and Keratin. Now I can only find it with Shea Butter, Peppermint and Apple Cider Vinegar. I like Apple Cider Vinegar but want to be sure it will have the same affect on my hair as the Keratin formula.

I began using this product on freshly washed hair. I only used this product. It made my curls feel so good until, well until I washed my hair. After shampooing, my hair was severely matted. I applied a different wash out conditioner to help soften before detangling. I could not get a comb through it. I have a huge mat across my entire head. It’s been 3 days of combing through this mess. I am so disappointed. My hair is now severely damaged and broken. I am terrified that I might have to cut all of my hair off. I’m still combing and trying to savage any length I can before I resort to cutting it off to a brush cut. My hair was mid back length. I’ll be lucky if I have a bob when I am finished.

This right here is always in stock at my house. It is so good on my hair. And really one of the main products I used to help me get my hair back when I lost a lot of it due to having covid. So if you find that to be something you are having trouble with I most definitely suggest this leave in.

I love this mask. I’ve used it as a pre wash mask and in the shower and both ways always make my hair so smooth and hydrated. I have bleached fine hair and my hair soaks this up and helps with the damage.

I purchased this many months ago and I really really wanted to like it but for some reason, it didn’t work with my hair. It makes my hair super greasy and when it dries, my naturally soft hair become coarse, tangled and so hard to comb through. I do comb my hair right after I apply it. Also there is this milk like smell that I can’t ignore. It goes away when it dries but it lingers for so long. I stopped using it and will not repurchase.
