    Too expensive for what it is

    Really 2.5 stars at best, but that's not an option. This should be about 1/2 of what I paid ($40). It's small (yes, the dimensions are there), cheap looking and there is no way this can hold more than 1/4 of what is advertised. The top, under the slats, is 3 separate pieces of thin wood glued side-by-side to make up the 20-something inches of the top (I didn't measure to confirm the dimension). If this is the right dimensions, you want to tuck it in a corner or closet and you find it on sale, then "maybe". Personally, I would not be using this in my open foyer.

The wood matches my floors perfectly and I’m so impressed by the precision of the predrilled holes. Easy to unpackage and very little mess. I think this will easily hold 8 hats and scarves and nine or ten pairs of shoes.

    bad business for bad product

    I ordered this item the 1st of February, it was delivered the 5th, I finally put it together a few weeks later probably around the 3rd or 4th week in Febuary as I had a second eye surgery on the 4th. Just Today march 12th I noticed that one of the boards is split straight down the middle. Now I can't tell you for absolute certain that i may have not noticed it becuase of my eyes or that it happened pretty recently. It has had very little use and Target will not honor a return or exchange becuase its' 1wk beyond 30 DAYS since I have had it and apparently it's a 3rd party vendor. This is a totally unacceptable business practice, I have given them lots of business and they should make it right. I know they sell them in the store as well.

    MISSING

    this is pretty and easy to put together. only took me 30 minutes. however when I got to the last shelf, it was missing the factory holes to attach the shelf to the side wood pieces. by the time found out,I had already got to the last step. was not going to take apart to return. we just want put head shoes on that shelf. so far so good.
