Sound equalizers better, harder to answer phone
App for Shokz nice for different listening environments. Battery better. But left button doesn’t stop streaming or switching to phone call seems harder to get.

Better than…
I love my new OpenRun Air 2s. They are perfect for runs on the road, track or trails. As a matter of fact, they work well in the gym also. Sound quality is great. Far more comfortable compared to my previous in ear headphones.

3rd time is the charm, I hope
I love these headphones. I've lost two of them in two years, so I figure it's still better than the individual ear buds that I would lose one of within weeks. That's why I went to headphones. I'll buy one a year if I have to. They're marvelous.

Where’s the Volume on the Pro?
I find the highest volume not being high enough. My OpenRun’s volume goes much higher. But I do love all of them!!!

My 3rd Pair
All 3 sets still work, but now have the Pro Mini and fits my head so much better. Appreciate the charger change as well.

Good sound, but the fit and portability could be improved
The sound is good, and taking calls or running in them works perfectly. However, I have both good and bad experiences with the fit. Even though I bought the mini size, they still feel larger than I wanted. I can fit two fingers between the back of my neck and the plastic band, meaning they are not very tight. This is an issue when I want to use them while lying down on a bed or sofa; the back part pushes forward and knocks the headphones off my head. Also, if I manually push the earpieces a bit tighter against my head, the sound is noticeably better, which suggests the default fit should be tighter. Putting on clothes—even jackets that don't go over my head—sometimes causes the headphones to fall off. I would also love it if they folded so I could easily put them in my trouser pockets. Currently, they feel a bit fragile, and the included carrying case is quite large. Lastly, I didn't expect them to go into sleep mode and didn't know I needed to briefly press the power button to wake them up. It's a useful feature, but it wasn't intuitive until I learned the trick. Otherwise, they are very user-friendly! The battery life is quite good, and having standard USB charging is a really nice and convenient touch.

Prefer the originals
Would not purchase the "2s" again, but I would purchase the originals again. The "2s" are not as good.

First time it wasn't 5 stars
The new open run pro 2 was a complete let down. I've live every version I've purchased, for over 10 years, till this one. I was so let down I returned them. The water resistance is reduced, air conduction is contrary to the purpose of bone conduction, the sound muffled, and only usb-c charging.

Good for what they are
Overall, I was not impressed with these. Sound quality isn't great, if volume is medium to higher you can feel vibrations. They are a bit more comfortable than earbuds over long periods of time. Most importantly they interfered slightly with my glass frames and I am not willing to replace those as they cost more than these devices.

Good but has some flaws
2nd time I've upgraded (owned 3 generations). Fit, finish, and function all are fantastic. BUT, I still cannot hear the audio when there is wind or very loud traffic on my bicycle. The wind rushing by my ear completely erases the audio. I crank my iPhone to max volume and still cannot hear the audio when it is windy outside or lots of truck roll by. SHOKZ can do better with this design!

Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 review
As I get accustomed to my new headphones, the first benefit I've noticed is the improved safety and ability to communicate compared to my prior in-ear buds. I believe over time they will only get lighter, but it isn't currently an issue. I look forward to longer runs and bike rides to test the battery life and long term comfort.

Sucks
Volume is horrible. The app doesn't help with its suggestions because they do nothing. Don't feel the bone conduction so not sure what people are talking about. The good thing is it doesn't cover the ear but the volume so low it doesn't matter.

I love my Shokz!
I put my Shokz through a lot on a daily basis. They stand up to whatever I do. I sweat heavily most days. As a long distance runner, I love listening to music while I run. Because of the design, I can still hear friends talking and also hear cars coming. I can easily turn down the volume and answer calls easily from my Shokz. It is so convenient that I can't be without my Shokz!
