    Won't power on

    I think I got a refurbished pair or something. The power button wont turn the headphones on. Ive tried many times since I got them. I will return or exchange.

    Great improvements from previous designs

    I’ve had mine for over a year and use them every day at work because of the multipoint pairing capability (work and personal phones). I work in a manufacturing environment, and yes, as some have pointed out, loud noises can and will drown out calls, music, etc. But that’s the price you pay for an open-ear design. There’s no free lunch. You can’t have an open-ear design that allows you to be more situationally aware while also expecting it to block out those same environmental noises for clearer audio. If you want that you have to go in-ear or over the ear and give up some of the attributes of an open-ear design.

    These headphones are comfortable and stay put on runs. However, the bass quality and volume capability doesn’t come close to my AirPod Pros. I understand the design is different, but the sound quality is disappointing. You can increase the volume and bass in the Shokz app, but only one at a time. You cannot increase volume and bass at the same time, which is strange and annoying. Another con is that the battery doesn’t last that long. After one long run, the battery is low and I have to charge them to be sure there’s enough battery for my next run.

    I love my Shokz. I actually owe 4 pairs of them and have gifted 5 pairs as well. I like the open ear listening, you don't even realize they are on, very comfortable. Only "con" is that you cannot voice activate it to place a call.

    Ear candy

    I just got back from a bike ride, one of the reasons I got these. No issues or problems with wind noise. Music sounded great. Controls easy to manage even with helmet straps over the headset. Did not try a phone call, but successfully dictated a text message while riding. I occassionally wonder if the mini would have made sense, when I'm in a chair or sofa with high back...the back of the headset bumps the headrest in the seat. More of a minor annoyance than a problem.

    I work in construction and my jobsite only allows bone conduction headphones so I got these. What I like about these is that it has drivers which are basically speakers pointed to your ears without actually being in them and the option to use the “classic” mode which is fully bone conduction. There is a difference in sound quality switching between the modes but that’s expected. Either way I haven’t had a problem hearing my music with this in loud environments with heavy machinery running and everything else you could imagine on a Construction Site. All while still being able to hear my surroundings. The battery life is really good too! I’m only working 8hr shifts rn but I’m confident it would at least carry you through a 10. As far as comfort goes, they’re very comfortable sometimes forgetting you have them on. Make sure to get your measurements. I grabbed the standard and measured after and thinking about switching to the minis

    Power button

    I wish they locate the power button. Somewhere else separate from the volume Button because, over time, that's the main button that will wear out and not work. But the product is fantastic. That is just the only issue. The power button. There is a blank space. They can relocate the power button on the headphones by the right ear like play and pause button customer servers works fast, so that's a good plus

    These Shokz OpenRun 2 sound GREAT! I wish I had the resources to buy some for all of my ears bud friends that look kind squirrely with their "White" ear buds. I can not tell i am wearing them, I usually forget.

    5th pair I’ve bought since AfterShokx were introduced.

    They are the only type I’m interested in using on my bike; I can hear calls and notices easily, and I can hear every sound around me on the road. I used to listen to music or podcast on my 2-hour total commute, and it was, great but now I appreciate the sounds around me and, but I can easily answer and close phone calls without getting my phone out. I upgraded the first 2, broke 1, and lost one pair. No other brand compares.

    Best headphones for sensitive ears!

    For years I’ve been looking for comfortable ear buds or headphones. Due to having Bell’s palsy some years ago. This has been the most awesome solution! I can finally have sound in my ears all day without aching at end of day. So light you barely know they’re there! I’m a fan for life.

    I bought these because I didnt want headphones squeezing my head for hours or earbuds in my ears all day. They work well but I was hoping they would be great for gaming using Discord. They are not. Im not concerned with sound quality but my fellow gamers have a hard time hearing me through these so these are definitely not for gaming.
