Excellent
My first time with open-ear, over the ear “headphones. ” I love how secure they are compared to ear buds. Also love that I can pause music/talk and hear what’s going on around me.

Game Changer
I’ve always wanted to try bone conduction headphones, and am glad I finally bit the bullet. I enjoy being able to listen to music and being aware of my surroundings. In-ear headphones always tend to fall out or get uncomfortable - I sometimes forget I’m wearing my Shokz! Very happy with my purchase, perfect for office and field work, as well as staying more connected with family while doing chores.

The freedom to listen to tunes while walking outdoors
i have always walked without using earbuds or headphones because as a female walking along it is important to be able to hear whatever is happening around you. The Shokz allow me to enjoy music but also still being able to hear what I need to hear to remain safe. I am very happy with my Shokz and they feel like I am not wearing anything at all.

It's Pretty Good
I got myself the prorun2 and all in all I'm very happy with my purchase. It helps when I work, when doing monotonous jobs for hours while wearing ear protection. My main problems for it lay in the fact that they are a little to big for my head. They don't sell the little versions and when wearing them they can shift around your cheekbone making the audio in consistent at times. The way they sit on your ear isn't bad but when paired with protection glasses they can feel like they are splitting your ear from your head, now thats do more to having them on for hours but still it hurts. At the end of the day I'm happy with my purchase but there is room for improvement on the design.

Not as good as the originals.
While there are more features the battery life is shorter, plus they don’t get as loud either.

Good Sound
While the sound is very good, I have had problems with Bluetooth connection to my I-Phone 16 ProMax. If I get into my car or truck and out to use my Open Run Pro 2, I have to re-pair them to my phone.

Need Adjustment Updates.
They do not fit the ear, they do not adjust, and sit NEAR the ear canal and sound like they’re a bit far away. I have to hold them in place to cover the ear canal otherwise they’re to stiff, no adjustment to get them to send sound into the ear, only “close”!

Perfect Headset Ever!
I’ve been using the Shokz Pro Run 2 Blue Limited Edition for my workouts, and it has been one of the best fitness accessories I’ve owned. The open-ear design is incredibly comfortable, especially during long workouts and strenuous activities. One of the biggest benefits I’ve noticed is that it relieves the headache and ear pressure I used to experience when wearing traditional headphones or headsets. Since nothing is inserted into my ears, I can exercise comfortably without feeling any discomfort, even during intense training sessions. The sound quality is impressive for an open-ear headset, and I love being able to stay aware of my surroundings while still enjoying my music and podcasts. The Blue Limited Edition also looks sleek and stylish. If you’re someone who experiences ear fatigue, headaches, or pressure from regular earbuds and headphones, I highly recommend the Shokz Pro Run 2. It’s comfortable, practical, and perfect for active lifestyles.

Sound great!
As a cyclist, it’s important to have my ears unplugged for safety. Shokz make that possible while still enjoying music, podcasts and my favorite, audio books. These sound good, operate efficiently and seem to have plenty of battery life. The only downside for me is comfort as I can’t wear them continuously without pain developing where they press against my temples.

A Massive Upgrade to the Flagship Formula
I've been using Shokz (back when they were AfterShokz) for years, and the primary reason I stick with them is situational awareness. For anyone who needs to track ambient sounds and maintain total environmental awareness while listening to audio, their open-ear design remains unmatched. With the OpenRun Pro 2, they didn't just iterate; they actually fixed the historical pain points of bone conduction technology. The Standout Features: The Sound (DualPitch Tech): Previous generations lacked low-end punch and vibrated intensely against your cheekbones if you cranked the volume. The new dual-driver setup splits the load. A bone conduction driver handles the crisp mids and highs, while a dedicated air conduction speaker delivers legitimate low frequencies. The result is a much richer, full-bodied sound with zero annoying facial vibrations. Battery Life: Playtime has jumped significantly. You easily get a solid 12 hours on a single charge now, making it a true all-day headset. Surprise Fast Charging: The unsung hero here is the charge speed. Shokz moved to a standardized USB-C port, and the throughput is incredibly fast. Even if you run them down to dead, plugging them in for just five minutes gives you a couple of hours of playback. They cycle from empty to full remarkably fast. If you are already a fan of the Shokz line, the acoustic improvements and the sheer speed of the USB-C charging make this a definitive upgrade. Highly recommended.

I use them everyday.
They are extremly useful and comfortable. I wear them at night while I sleep so I can hear my call outs for EMS without disturbing my husband. They're great.

Could be better
I went to upgrade my headphones, and my first thought was go get a pair of Shokz. The sad reality is that the bone conducting feature it offers makes the sound less strong when running. It is nice at times when in nature and doing trail runs but when you live in a busy city and run at the park I’d wish that you have a stronger sound. Yes the app does help with it but it still is weak. I also wish it was easier to change songs or pause them on the headphones. I find that to be difficult to do that. My other pair was a touch feature and it would pause it automatically.

First pair of Gen 2
I wish these were waterproof so I could shower with them. The smaller size is super comfortable, I wouldn’t consider any other size. Sounds quality and microphone have imporoved as well!
