i was really hesitant at first because I had heard so many different things about open ear headphones in general, and specifically underwater usage, but wow. As soon as I got them, I regretted not getting them sooner. I feel so much better on my runs and bike rides, but swimming with them is game changing. I love them, they fit really well and can't recommend them enough.

ever since I’ve gotten these I’ve basically thrown my beats in the trash figuratively speaking I work outside a lot and also have a lot of mental distress in my life and having the open swim pros is pretty much just the new style everybody should get I love the part that I can just use them in the water whenever by taking a shower or drenched in sweat like I just got poured on in the rain they also have a decent battery life and I love how they are lightweight and you can forget about having them on after jamming out to your tunes I do have a little bit of a small head so the back headband sometimes slides down towards my neck or they might get irritated because I have to keep adjusting on the head once in a while not often if I set them right on my head they stay perfect I also love the magnetic charging cable feature just put them on the table snap and they’re charging I haven’t had to use the MP3 player part yet but if I have to go into treatment of any kind these headphones can still come with me because no phones allowed I do wish there were more EQ features and other features in settings on the shoks app and it’s true I haven’t touched my beats since these came in the mail big win for open swim pro shoks these aren’t just for athletic use they are for your blue color working as well!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰

Of course they work in water - in fact, it's something magical under there with the earbuds in to keep water out and the headphones on for tunes - but they're great in open air as well! For outside of swim, I wear glasses and a hat, there's 0 (zero) conflict. 100% recommend these.

The sound quality and storage capacity exceed those of the standard shokz swim headphones. The controls are different from the standard phones and not intuitively obvious—certainly the app helps with the settings but I generally do not like to have my phone in the pool setting (I use mp3 mode, not bluetooth). It took a while to figure out that pressing the on button was insufficient to get playback, but that one must additionally hold the control button down for a few seconds. The instructions were not clear to me in that regard. Aside from that, the headphones are a step up over my older set.

I’ve gone through many iterations of headphones and underwater players for swimming. These are hands down the best I’ve had. The Bluetooth when underwater isn’t great (it breaks up), but I did the MP3 and it was incredibly easy to transfer what I wanted and very clear my entire swim. I also use them to talk on the phone and when I’m running - I love them. They’re comfortable, sound is clear to me and others. I cannot recommend enough.

Out of the water, these sound great. However, I didn’t purchase them for out of the water. I purchased them for swimming laps in the pool. In order to listen to your favorite playlists from your normal music providers, you need bluetooth. Unfortunately, these headphones are not good via bluetooth in the water. I am going to have to download MP3 files to the headphones to improve this situation, but MP3 files aren’t easily available. It seems I will either have to purchase a bunch of new MP3 files or find a conversion software.

The fit is too big but there was not a small option in the design. I am also trying to get used to the vibrations when the music is loud. I should turn down the volume but I like to jam with the volume up.

The mp3 mode is a bit difficult to work, having to download weird external apps, but swimming in Bluetooth mode also works if you’re fine with music cutting out during flip turns

I needed a new pair of headphones after my AirPod pros were acting up. I had just been using them for workouts and work calls, deep work I’ve got a pair of noise canceling headphones I really like. Wasn’t sure about the bone conduction technology but seemed like it was worth giving it a shot after hearing from some friends who had tried them. And wow, these are perfect for almost everything! I love to workout in them - whether it’s lifting, running, and now even being able to swim in them is just really awesome. I sweat a ton, so not having anything covering my ears or in my ear (and having to pull it out just to get the sweat dislodged every now and again) is a real game changer. I’ve also been using them for calls. People have commented that the quality on mic audio is very good still and I really appreciate being able to wear them for long periods of time and not even notice they’re there. PLUS they allow for multi-device pairing. I can be paired to both my laptop and phone at the same time with no issue. Battery life so far seems pretty decent as well. I’m grilling with these things even, as I can wear them and listen to music or a podcast but still hear when my wife is calling out what the kids want thrown on the grill for supper. 10/10 recommend these. No notes.

So far so good! I have bought (4) previous "waterproof swimming" headsets from other manufacturers and distributers and all of them crapped out within a few swims. Not these ones! They are going strong and sound way better than the other ones that I bought and returned in the past. Plus, they are more comfortable. They come with earplugs and that is definitely the way to go if one wants the music to sound consistent with every stroke and breath. They have (2) equalizer settings and the one designated for "swim" is well executed. Transfer speed was eye popping too. I transferred 2500 mp3 songs, about 4 GB, and it took only about (5) minutes. I was expecting an hour or two like the previous headsets. If they hold up for the entire two year warranty I will be super pleased. Presently, I do believe they will. Big quality of life upgrade.

These headphones are good for the niche they fill but I would not get these as an all around use headphone. They are completely waterproof and good for swimming and running to maintain awareness. However my biggest gripe is that the case does not protect them whatsoever from accidentally turning on. Multiple times they have turned on in my bag and drained the battery. By their nature they don’t drown out sounds completely. Which is not a dig at them by any means but you will still be able to hear music and people talking at the gym while your trying to lift so I prefer my AirPods still at the gym. I also wish there was a way to adjust the sizing. I have a smaller head and so they tend to shift slightly when doing big movements like power cleans and snatches. I also don’t like how there’s no way to see how full the battery is.

These headphones are fantastic. Not only are they great for long swims but they work really well on my runs. I normally do not like bringing my phone with me on runs and the MP3 function allows me to be able to listen to music without having to bring my phone with me.
