My bike was not stolen Thanks to this and another chain I bought! My neighbor's bike was stolen but mine was safe and unharmed. We watched it on security camera!! Highly recommend this product.

I have only had this for a few days, but it's nice. Really heavy duty. Plus the part that attaches to the bike is actually big enough for the place that I want to put it, which was not true of my older Ulock.

This is a fantastic bike lock. Extremely solid and well made. The bracket is useful as it allows the d-lock to be mounted in various locations. The extra cable is a good length too so easily works to lock up the front wheel. Would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their bike security. 2 keys supplied.

Really sturdy set of D bolt and cable, cable doesn't coil madly like my old one, but you can just wind it round it's holder and velcro onto seat post, or where ever is convenient. The D bolt I eventually placed on the front wheel of my bike, as I'm a shortie, and couldn't find anywhere else safe to put it. It hasn't moved yet, so is not causing safety issues. I like this set, I have a quick release front wheel and can secure that, and the whole bike, when out and about.Comes with two keys and fitting instructions. Finger's crossed I don't need to review it's sturdiness, no-one has attacked it yet.

My son was given a beautiful, new hybrid bike for Christmas. He loved it and his first trip was to the library to revise for exams. He emerged 4 hours later to find nothing but the combination lock left behind. We replaced the bike quickly (he rides a lot) and again he set off to the library to revise. A little nervous, he checked on the bike after only an hour to find the steel cable cut and the new bike gone. Both times the bikes were safely locked in a bike rack, in an open walkway in the middle of a shopping mall with CCTV trained on them, in the middle of the day.Bike thieves don't care about CCTV because they know the police don't have time. They don't care about people seeing them - they just ride away on their stolen property. The only thing that has stopped the thieves is the Sigtuna U-Lock.They can't cut it. They can't pull it out. They can't twist it. They can't steal my son's bike.Thank you for making us feel like the bad guys don't always win.

This lock is awesome and sturdy. It took a while to find the best position on my bike since I have a small frame, but ultimately fastened to the seat tube. By tipping the bracket back, I was able to keep it secured.

The lock is very strong and secure without being too heavy. Mounting on the bike is very convenient but keep in mind that it does add some weight. The mount for the u-lock mounts solidly to the frame, but it does allow the lock to jiggle around a bit when you ride which can be a bit irritating at times. The mount for the cable lock broke the very first time I installed it, but I wasn't surprised as it is just a velcro band. I wasn't too worried about it as mounting it to my bike got to be too cumbersome anyway. The lock mounts nicely to my frame with just enough room to fit my bottle and without getting in the way of peddling.I lock my frame to the bike lock with the u-lock and run the cable through both of my tires. This has seemed to work well and is very secure. I also like that the silver cylinder in the middle can rotate to cover up the keyhole. This will confuse a lock-picker and at the very least add a few precious seconds if they try to pick it, which I think would be pretty difficult to do anyway!All in all I feel much more comfortable with this lock than I did with my previous cable lock that was cut and taken along with my nice mountain bike!

I am overall pleased with the bike lock overall. I think that it is well-built and don't suspect anyone would easily decide to steal my bike with this on it. I like the robust design. It's relatively easy to install but took a while as the mounting bracket was almost too small to put on my bike. I had to take out a rubber slab out in order for it to fit more comfortably. I can trust that things will work properly with the bike and like how the cable is meant to keep on anything valuable on the bike that could be stolen. I would suggest that the swiveling mount be less swively as it can easily swivel about when biking and hit my legs. It's a nice feature, but I don't believe it's stable enough for what it's intended to do. I suggest making this swivel mount click when at certain points in its range of motion. I know I'm not the first to suggest this but will have to see when it happens!

Top quality lock. I was sceptical about it as I have an expensive bike I lock up at night and this lock is perfect. It also fits in to my frame nicely a good buy.Highly recommended.

Good solid lock - my wife's bike was stolen a few weeks ago and we realised how easy those cheap cable locks are to cut through so we purchased a couple of these and I cannot see how someone could get through this without some heavy duty tools. Handy that it clips onto the frame, though I would advise fitting to the top of the frame rather than under the seat as it knocks about there (or at least it did for me!) - recommended.

I finally got around to mounting this last night. The ulock seems good, and the key is easy to use. It slides in and our of the mount easily.Two critiques:1 - When the ulock is in the mount, the mount swivels a little, even after I tighten the screw.2 - The instructions for mounting the ulock were great, but there are no instructions for mounting the flexcable.

I really like these locks they feel very tough I left my bikes out over night so I used chains instead of the cables. I bought my first Sigtuna Lock over a year ago never had any issues with it I was going to buy the one in second photo again but it was out of stock so believing in the name brand I bought this other model instead. I have used Sigtuna locks as I said over a year now and I like their products and will continue to do so with 2 E Bikes I want to know my stuff is secure.

My university campus and the surrounding area is renown for getting your bikes stolen so I knew I had to get a good bike lock. I did a bit of research and this lock seemed to be the best lock for the most reasonable price! I really liked the fact that these came with the cable so I didn't have to buy one separately. It makes me feel better knowing there's a bit of extra security by locking my front tire as well with the cable. After using this for the past month, I've had no trouble with anyone even trying to cut my lock! I do however have 2 cons, the first one being that I wish I had gotten the longer "U" of the lock since sometimes I have trouble fitting the lock through both the pole, my back tire and the metal bar (that's a preference though of how I lock it, some people just put it through the back tire and the pole). That's on me though, not the fault of the lock! Seconds, I mounted the bike attachment on the vertical rod of the bike and must not have screwed it on tight enough, since after a couple uses the rubber insert slid out and the mount now hangs at the bottom of the rod and kind of bounces around when I used it (it's not able to tightly wrap around the rod anymore). My advice would be to mount it on a horizontal rod of your bike and to make sure you do it tightly! Overall, super happy with my purchase and I would definitely recommend this lock and cable, such a great price for great quality!Cons:Wish I had gotten the longer "U" bike lockThe bike attachment of the bike got loosened and the rubber fell off.

Seems good for the price. Packaging is looked nice. There's a weird chemical or oil sort of odor from the product, but it dissipated after a couple days. If you are the kind of person to feel sick from acetone/acetate/rubbing alcohol you may have an issue with it.The lock/keys:- Lock actuation feels smooth- The amount of "play" is minimal- The barrel that rotates to hide the keyway does not fully cover the keyway. This could lead to rain easily entering the lock in some orientations.- Keys look a little bit rough from manufacturing, but work just fine.The cable:- It's a cable that looks like it will work. I think to properly test and comment on it, I'll have to destroy it, and I don't plan on doing that intentionally at this time.- Cable length is appropriate. Not too long; not too short.The mount:- Simple to set up. I agree with the reviewer that mentioned the instructions were choppy -- a quick look at the sample images clears up any confusion.- The swivel mount on the U-lock does not tighten much, and I feel that over time it will swivel in the way while riding- Plastic feels cheap, but you are buying this for the lock + cable, not the mount.Overall, the biggest drawbacks I see are not about the lock and cable. I don't give a 5/5 because features seemed to be cheaply added on for the convenience factor. These features are appreciated, but I wish they were done better.

So far my bike is usually where I leave it, easy to use.

The biggest plus is the attachable bike adapter vs putting the u bolt to the bike and it rattling around. Its heavy but people complaining about that seems dumb, I wanted a thick metal so it would be harder for thieves to steal so naturally, that means heavier. Anything less and it's going to be easier to cut. There is a sleeve around the u bolt to help from clinking on your bike, a nice add as well becuase the adapter allows the u bolt assembly to sit flush with the bike.The cable comes with a strap that makes it great for riding I store it on the u bolt the way it was strapped in the box sent to me. I like this a lot because it's the best way I've found to store the cable and I like that it was sent that way to show you. I've had a small problem with the lock engaging but instead of forcing anything I stopped to look, so far I believe its becuase the adapter/ holder on the u bolt that slides in to the bike fitting, can move. So i moved it away from the end and it locked fine becuase that gave it enough room to engage. I'm hoping that's all and not the lock itself, if that is all, I'd say this is a five star review then cuz it meets everything I wanted out of it, and I dont care if I need to nudge the adapter a little. The versatility and features plus low price makes it a great buy Very happy so far

I really like this lock. It does everything i need it to and is well made.The pros vastly outweigh the cons.I like how conveniently the lock can be connected and disconnected from my frame. it is clearly very sturdy and i feel safe locking my bike up.I only had 1 issue, but it was resolved within a few minutes of tinkering. I found that i couldn't lock it back up but it was because the clip on the U bar moved up and stopped the lock from fully clamping down. It was hard to see that the clip had slid up and did cause some frustration since i was in a hurry and couldn't get it to lock, but after dealing with it once it will never happen again.I recommend this lock for anyone looking for a sold lock that you can trust.

The lock seems to be of pretty solid quality and I like all the parts and pieces that come with it. One problem that I read about in other reviews is that sometimes the key will not pull out when trying to lock/secure the lock. The key will pull out of the lock when in the locked position if it is not attached to the "u" segment of the lock, but sometimes gets "jammed" when trying to close and lock the device. I read from other reviewers that it helps to bang the end of the locking mechanism, which I have had to do on several occasions, and that has seemed to be a temporary "fix".
