Doesn’t keep liquid hot even for an hour. Waste of money!!!!!!

love this insulated cup so much i ordered a 2nd for my ice coffee addiction..wide & short so is easy to wash without brush..handle was important for me & screw top lid.. The hole is big enough bc I use a straw.. Putting the flap down to cover the whole is easy, fits snuggly & stayed closed when I tipped it over to check it out..only got couple drops that came out.. I really never paid attention How long my drink stayed cold?..It would depend how much ice you put in there, had your cup outside in the summer etc.. But I drink ALOT of iced coffee throughout the day/ evening , so it's no big deal for me..I have never tried it for hot drinks... I can't compare it to other insulated cups I had bc it was some time ago and they were the tall ones & hard to clean.... For what I drink & so frequent throughout the day...This is perfect cup for me...FYI..I'm retired so its easy for me to refill/ add ice whenever I want...I hand wash also

I was looking for an insulated coffee mug with a handle for hot tea. There was only one company that I looked at, which is simple modern. I own several of their tumblers that I use for coffee and they are hands-down the best products I have used. I can make coffee in the morning, leave my cup until the afternoon and it is still hot and I do not have to microwave it! Their products are also far cheaper than other premium brands too. I would recommend this brand, it is the only one I purchased from.

Keeps my tea hot for hours. It cools down if you walk away and leave it sitting with the flip top open, of course. For easier removal of the lid, open the flip top for a sec to release any pressure differential. I’ve had one of these cups for a year, and it’s still in great shape.

Great cup! This is actually my second one but the only reason I'm not giving it a full 5 stars is because the black piece that closes over the top can break easily if it's accidentally dropped. It should be a little bit more durable than that. The lid was dropped by itself once and it broke. But I loved it so much, I bought a second. The cup is terrific design and keeps my coffee nice and hot!

Positives: This mug does not leak and nicely fits in my vehicle cup holders! Opportunities: The mug doesn't keep beverages cold as long as I had hoped. I have other brand mugs that do keep cool for hours (i.e. water, juice). I tried to freeze the liquid overnight so see if that would help, but it thaws quicker than I want.

The flip top on this is so tight when you open and close coffee spills out.

GURL. I had this cup be FLINGED across the truck and it DID NOT spill.

My husband got this mug as a gift over two years ago, and it STILL looks brand new (besides obvious tea stains inside the mug). No scratches or damage. It keeps drinks hot for hours. Yes, it has a tight seal, but rather than break it (looking at some silly review complaints) just flip the cap open to stop the seal then twist the lid off. I’m ordering mugs only from this company now.

I have tried simple modern in the past and I will continue to purchase there products they are just wonderddul, definitly recommend this cup for your coffee!

Great cup. The problems that previous reviews have pointed out are solved if the black lid is left open while containing hot beverages allowing for expansion. The threads on the cap allow for use by right or left handed. Right handed use point the lip of the lid towards you and turn the cap left till it sits loosely into threads then turn right. If turns hard don't force it turn left and restart. Left hand reverse above.

After one month of light, use the flap on the lid, broke off. Then, a few days later, the lid gasket got jammed. I was not able to unscrew the lid. I tried so hard that the handle broke off. Loved it, unfortunately build quality is bad. I wish I could get a refund.

Waste of money. Drinks don’t stay hot for long.

Love the colors and size for everyday use to keep my tea hot or cold.

The cup itself is fine but I’ve had it about a year or so now and a few weeks ago the top cracked and finally today…. Well….. lol

It doesn't keep your beverage hot

This is an awesome little cup. I love how tight the seal is. It's also annoying to open, maybe just when it's hot -- not sure -- but I guess that's the price ya pay for a secure seal.
