I purchased the model last June and used it for the first two weeks at home, testing various temperature settings and checking with a separate thermometer. It kept the temperature within +/- 5 degrees from 0 to 38, and at 0 degrees, it froze a quart of water solid within 24 hours. Afterward, I moved it to my pickup camper in the driveway, using the camper’s 12-volt 200Ah battery pack, which is charged by three 100-watt solar panels on the roof. The cooler maintained a steady 0 degrees for two weeks, keeping the quart of water frozen solid. The weather was perfect for 10 days with full sun and no clouds, and the battery pack never dropped below 65%. I also used it during a two-week camping trip in October, and despite the lower sun, it maintained 10 degrees, consistently freezing a quart of water in 24 hours and keeping my meat frozen solid. It took 8 days for the battery pack to drop to 40%, and I used a small generator to recharge it. The cooler handled being bounced around in the bed of my truck over rough dirt roads without any issues. Overall, I absolutely love this cooler and only needed to run the generator once for an afternoon on the 8th day.
