I've never had any issues with this brand of milk up until this weekend and had bought 2 gallons from our local target store and they were dated for December 7 for expiration and neither tasted right as if they were already going bad and had to pour them out. Mid Milk. Are the cows being fed well?
The flavor of this milk is very mid. I want to start by saying that no, my milk is not expired, and doesn't smell weird. I don't know where this milk is coming from but based on the taste, I have concerns about quality and nourishment of the cows on whichever farm it is coming from. The taste is slightly eggy (and not the good kind). The texture is just fine for skim milk I guess, although I admit it seems more watery than higher quality skim milks. For two dollars I am just happy with being able to have a half gallon since for some reason they aren't stocking the good milk anymore.
