SKLZ Basketball Kick Out - Gray/Yellow

ive had this product for about a week and two days in a row and of the grey rims that screw in have been broken off and attached themselves to the screws, in other words they arent attached onto the original grey base anymore. im tired of having to bring the ladder out and keep taking it down and fixing it

Works great when the tabs/hooks stay on the rim... But after a few made shots they tend to pop off... Whether you're hitting a swish or hitting the back rim and making the shot, it just pops off. One time 2 out of the 4 tabs/hooks popped off from one made shot. Also rotating the Kick out isn't as easy as they show it on video either... It's a great concept but frustrated when the tabs/hooks start coming off and I have to constantly lower my court to tab them back in...

Can I get a replacement for this. It broke after two months!!

this is not as good as you think when you make a shot the ball slowly goes throw and slowly rolls to you and it breaks easy it broke like 2 times now is in the bin ( and if you ever want me to test your products just tell me )

Poor craftsmanship.... quality control... broke within the first 15 shots. We were just working on short 10 feet release and control shots, very low impact. The ball return was okay, beats the ball falling away when doing reps, not the greatest but usable. However the threading broke and came a part on one of the straps. We can probably sew it back together and probably will, but I cannot recommend this product based on that. Return period over since we got over winter.

I have used this for the past few days and It works but with a lot of conditions. 1. it is hard to get on to the net and to remove it 2. unless you're 6 2 or taller you're going to have a hard time rotating it 3. If you are using this for shots longer than 15 feet the ball will be rolling on the ground when it gets to you 4. the ball takes a long time to get back to you 5. as you take shots it slowly will rotate because of the ball hitting it It works, but just buy something with a net-based system if you are really serious. unless you just like making ten foot shots and waiting three seconds to get them back, don't buy this.

I get that the product is less than ideally designed ... obviously no engineering applied. BUT I have purchased the inner ring before to replace the broken straps. I think if you keep offering it, some people will accept the deficiency and replace the inner piece every other year or so, depending on usage.

I bought this and was very happy with the product, then one of the clips broke. I found that I could use a zip-tie or a shoelace to attach the strap to the rim. Then one of the clips broke and the strap became frayed in the middle and I have not come up with a solution that will not eliminate the rotating feature (which is the primary selling point). I cannot find a replacement part.

I just put this out today, even considering one of the hooks was broken. Needles to say, but 2 more broke upon reintroducing to the rim. It still kind of serves a purpose, but disappointed in the quality. I'm also upset that I saw one in the garbage recently and was too embarrassed to stop to take the hooks off, oh well.

Hooks won't fit all rim sizes and they will bounce off when the ball hits hard (from 3 point range). It broke after 5 uses, I had to fix it and I also replaced the plastic hooks with metal climbing hooks. I tied up some sponges in the top part to take part of the impact from throwing the ball. It works great now but not as it sells.

Have used this the original KKLZ Shoot-around for several years. Like others, the fabric straps are the weak link. First set lasted less than a year in the weather. Was send a free replacement and the second set has lasted 2 years.

I have reconstructed every clip on this product repeatedly. I see someone asked if the "updated" clips are available for purchase, but see no answer. The product actually works well... until it falls to the ground.

Good concept but haven't used it for quite sometime since I've been trying to find a hook to replace the one that broke. Hook needs to be made out of some other material. Haven't been able to find replacement. As you can see, it hasn't been used much. The hook broke shortly after purchase.

I bought this today, and it broke today. For a whole 5 shots the ball wobbled through the net and fell straight down. Then the strap broke, right of the plastic. I think it was a dud, and others may be better, but I don't plan on buying again.

My friend has one like this , i tried it and the idea is very nice , he told me about the quality and i read the reviews and it all say that material is loose and it doesn't last for a long time, i'm hesitant to buy one, is there an upgraded version of this with better quality regards Mohammad

Nice product, concept and helper for when your kid goes out to shoot themselves but it doesn't last:( Same issue everyone else seems to be having. Straps fray away. Not sure I can recommend this product to someone at that price. Now I need to buy another one that I know probably isn't going to last.

Bought the previous model of this product and it lasted a few months. My son went outside,took a few shots one day and the product fell away from the basketball rim.

I've bought the older version of this product and judging from the recent reviews, no improvements have been made other than appearance. At First the hooks broke one by one until only 1 or 2 were left. Then, I replace the hooks with stronger material but soon after that, the ropes themselves also started to snap one by one.

Problem with the product is a high arch ball landing will cause the hooks to unbuckle and result in the thing hanging on by just two or three hooks only. So all swish shots will fail this device. Nice concept, wish SKLZ could pass along a tip to keep it hooks from falling off.

In terms of a concept, it's great. But if it breaks after a week of use, it's pretty ridiculous.
