Q: Is the bed too big for a Queen mattress that's 68'' x 85''? Also, if it doesn't come with slats, then where is the box spring going to sit?? It seems like the bed is lifted a few inches from the floor on the pictures.

A: We bought this bed in a king size and our king mattress and box spring fit just fine on it. It's a gorgeous bed, I highly recommend it.
submitted bytlars - 8 years agoA: I would not recommend using slats with this bed because you really need the height from a box spring to ensure there's no gap between your mattress and headboard. There are 2 bars that go across the middle of the bed that will support the middle of your box spring and mattress.
submitted bysteele10 - 8 years agoA: This frame is made for a king size bed. I would not recommend putting queen size on it. It's a platform bed so you do not need a box spring. We just put the mattress on it and bought slats at mattress warehouse.

A: Yes! There is a 'frame' all around the bed. The side panels are the same size as the foot panels. I have been overly pleased with this purchase. Other than the challenge of putting it together, it's been a perfect purchase.

Q: Can the headboard be attached to a frame instead of assembling the platform? I like using frames cause they same sturdier.

A: We've had ours for over 2 years and it's still very sturdy with the base that is included. It's also really nice. If you don't want the base, I would suggest not getting the whole bed and just getting an upholstered headboard by itself that can be attached to any frame. You'll save money that way too.

A: Hi, This bed is designed to be used with a standard mattress and box spring combination. Please note that there is a 20" inch gap between the bottom of the headboard to the metal bed frame where the box spring sits. The distance from the metal bed frame to the top of the upholstered rail is approximately 7.5". Your best bet is to have the combined height of your box spring and mattress around 20 inches (or more if possible).

I was sent the wrong bed and it’s falling apart. I just put the bed together and because I am out of the return window I have lost $1,900.00. I spent more on this bed than the one they sent me. I can’t go to the manufacturer to get the wrong bed fixed, because Target sent me the wrong bed so I have no prove of purchase.

This bed is gorgeous! It took a while to get here but it was well worth the wait. We did have one issue with the very first screw not lining up correctly and spent about 45 minutes trying to get it right but it was smooth sailing after that. I agonized over the bed that I wanted and am so happy with my choice. It's sturdy, well made and just beautiful. I got the velvet dove gray which is more of a beige- gray color and just what I wanted. We used a 9 inch box spring and the Casper mattress which is 12 inches I believe and it worked out perfectly. I highly recommend this bed!

Beautiful and sturdy! The frame for this bed is the best made one I've ever seen. On the California King it has the basic frame plus three support arms, each with two feet. The bed frame, which is metal, has a total of 10 legs. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

This bed is beautiful and great quality. The grey color is just perfect. I have purchased a couple of skyline beds over the years and they are a great quality. The hold up really well and cost less than othe rboeds that have a similar style. The bed is lower and easy to assemble. It is better to assemble with two people, but doing it by myself didn’t take longer then an hour and half. I have assemble other skyline furniture beds and it was the same process. The shipping was fast. I would also recomend waiting for the bed to go on sale and then purchasing it. Which it usually does every couple of weeks.

ADORE this bed! The outstanding reviews are all true. The bed is incredibly well made ... the value is unreal. It took a friend and I about 90 minutes to put it together once everything was unboxed. I have an 11-inch high TempurPedic mattress and a 9-inch TempurPedic platform (box spring), and this 20-inch total height just covers the opening at the bottom of the headboard (no space shows). I’m beyond happy with my purchase. The bed looks like a $2,500 bed from the fancy stores.

Bought this bed to replace our wood bed, toddlers in the house. We LOVE it! It's luxurious, soft, and the focal point of our bedroom. It took my husband an hour to an hour and a half to put together. The bed came in two boxes, yes very heavy. For us, heavy equals strong and sturdy, well-supported, and appears to feel like the bed & frame will last many years. Absolutely, thrilled with this purchase, sight-unseen first. =) Wait for a sale to purchase and use your Red Card for more of a discount!!!

This is a wonderful bed and exactly what I was looking for! I looked at a lot of others that were more expensive and finally settled on this and glad I did! Very sturdy and beautiful. I did need a second person to help assemble and took a little over two hours. Would definitely reccomsnd

I absolutely love this bed. It looks even more beautiful than in the pictures. My husband and son put it together in about an hour. It is a very sturdy bed. Since I read a lot of reviews on this bed before purchasing it, I was aware of having to order a 9 inch box spring and a 12 inch mattress so there wouldn't be a gap between the headboard and the mattress. I am very happy with this purchase.

I past the last year looking for a perfect bed,and i found this one, because its rally cute and the one that i was looking for. I was expecting the delivery on December 19 and I received it before, was a good surprise for me, therefore the quality of my new bed is incredible. It looks really beautiful, the material is perfect . I am in love with my bed.

I didn't have a bed for a while and I finally decided to purchase one and this bed even though it seemed like I was blind folded buying it... by that I mean I could only imagine what it would look like in person... I was actually impressed that the material is suuuper soft and coZy.. I was worried it would be too Hairy and hot and it is actually really comfortable... what you do have to be careful is that your box and bed are the appropriate size because I had got a new mattress and used my old box however the new mattress was not as thick as my old one so I was left with a gap in between the head board and the bed... I will have to buy something to adjust the size because the bed is not adjustable. I do think it's a good purchase!

the velvet light grey is not what it appears in the photo. it's a much cooler silver/grey. Mine did not come with the side boards. will be returning. trying to figure out how a previous review stated they received swatches of two colors to choose - target states they don't have access to swatches.

This bed is beautiful!! It took about 2 weeks to get here (2 big boxes). It wasn't difficult to follow the directions although you get many different versions. It looks very high end and also feels very high end by the materials. Worth the money!!! I got it in Linen Talc which is basically a cream color which goes great with everything. If you're on the fence about it... Buy it!

The style of this bed was exactly what I was looking for and I contemplated buying it for a few weeks. When I decided to look at it again it was on sale! Great timing so I ordered it. It is beautiful and the velvet is super soft feeling. I ordered the light grey and am very happy with the color. Good sturdy bed with lovely details. Their website should have more pics in my opinion.

After going back and forth between sites online trying to find the best headboard/bed I wanted, I decided with this one. I was hesitate since it was from Target and afraid the elegant look I was going for wouldn't be there. It's the perfect shade of grey and the nail heads and wing back sides add to the high quality. Solid, study and beautiful. Thank you Target, I'm a believer!
