Q: What other metal frames can be used with this bed? One of the reviews said he was able to use an 18".
A: Any standard sized bed frame can be used.

Q: Does this headboard have fabric in the back? Our bed doesn't sit up against a wall and I'm looking for a bedframe that will sit around our adjustable bed.
A: The headboard has a black cambric fabric on the back. We do not recommend the use of an adjustable bed with a wingback; however, Skyline standard beds can be used with adjustable bases if the adjustable base can fit fully inside our frame. There are metal corners that are necessary to the construction of our frame and cannot be removed. They sit at 6” above the ground. The adjustable base must fit with these metal corners.

Q: Do you recommend a standard box spring or a low-profile box spring? I prefer that the box spring does not come up higher than the side rail. Thanks.
A: This bed is designed to be used with a standard mattress and box spring combination. Please note that there is a 20" inch gap between the bottom of the headboard to the metal bed frame where the box spring sits. The distance from the metal bed frame to the top of the upholstered rail is approximately 7.5". Your best bet is to have the combined height of your box spring and mattress around 18 inches (or more if possible).

Q: Will this work with an adjustable base??
A: This style of bed is designed to be used with a standard mattress and box spring combination. Customers in the past have successfully used adjustable beds. However, we cannot guarantee it would be compatible, due to the wide variety of adjustable beds in the market. Also, the manufactured weight capacity is 500lbs.

Q: Does this bed include the headboard? Below the bed description, it reads, 'Complete the Set,' with a link to the Wingback Headboard, which made me wonder if the headboard must be purchased separately.
