I bought this for my Grandson for Christmas. I bought new batteries for all his toys and the plan was to have install batteries in all his toys so when he opened them he was good to go. I put the batteries in this plasma ball and then turned it on to test it. Didn't work. I'm glad I decided to test it before giving it to him. I'm returning it. I'm not going to bother exchanging it because I've read other reviews now about this same product not working.

Super disappointing! My 8 year old picked this out for my 6 year old for Christmas. He was so excited to open it but when we put the batteries in, nothing happened. We tried new batteries but still nothing. We finally got the chance to take it back tonight and the guy at customer service said that 30 minutes prior someone else brought the same item back saying it did not work. He advised us not to buy another one. However, the on/off switch seemed slightly stuck on the first one so we took our chances because he wanted it so bad. The new one seemed to have a working on/off switch but when we got it home and put batteries in it didn’t work either! I have tried multiple new batteries. So frustrating. I will have to take this one back too. Very disappointed little boy.
