Great but weak magnet
Gets the job done, holds well, but magnet isn’t as strong as other similar products. The extra weight of the case makes it slide down when utilizing the magnet to mount on metallic surfaces.

Worst phone grip
If i could give 0 stars I would. The platic is flimsy and once you push your finger through it, it never snaps shut again. The magnet is not as strong as my previous popsocket. I honestly hated everything about this phone grip.

Fell off and Lost Forever
The magnet is not strong enough. I haven’t even had it a month, and it somehow disappeared. It came off the back of my phone somewhere, and despite giving it about a week to turn up and searching everywhere, it’s gone. It’s a bummer because I actually liked it and had already ordered the matching car mount. The good news is that my phone still works fine with the car mount, but I expected the grip itself to stay attached better than this.

Short lived grip
Grip lasts for a couple of months. Unfortunately I’ve purchased three of these grips and they fail after a few months of use. See photo.

Snap Grip 4 was better
I had the snap grip 4 previously, but I wanted to get the one in a color to match my case and by that time the 5 was out. So I figured it would be basically the same thing. I got my 5, and now I've had an issue with my phone not wirelessly charging while using it. It would start to charge and then stop a few minutes later so it died a few times because of this. I thought that was really odd because I never had that issue with my snap grip 4. After looking into it the grip 5 has false advertising all over the place claiming it has the wireless pass through charging, but then their FAQs specifically day you have to remove it to charge. And this thing is a nightmare to get off the phone because of how solid it holds, which would normally be great. I just really hate that everything still claims it has pass through and it doesn't actually work because that's a huge part of why you'd use this.

Disappointed with the updated version
The ‘outward grab’ is significantly reduced with this new version. A huge benefit to my previous ohsnap adhesive grip was that I could stick my phone to a huge range of metal surfaces and it would STAY PUT. The new grip seems to have just barely enough outward grab to support the weight of the phone, it feels much less secure when I stick it to metal surfaces. I can now only stick it to about half the surfaces I used to be able to, and on the other half it’s got just enough grab to keep my phone against the surface as it slides down to the ground (metal doors, metal shelving, etc.) Everything else about the grip is wonderful - easy to use, much more secure in the hands than a pop socket, super versatile. I hope they will consider a slightly stronger ‘outward grab’ option in the future

Not sure what the hype is!
I do not find this pop socket easy to use or comfortable. I’ve had others, while slightly bulkier, that you can at access and open with one hand and can comfortably use at any angle. I’m completely and utterly disappointed in this product!

Good but doesn’t work on charger
I like the feel and function when on the phone. But I have to take it off in order to use my desk charger. So far I have forgotten to put it back on my phone 100% of the time. So yeah while it’s on the phone I like it. But it has been off the phone more than on the phone since I got it. Do I need to buy another wireless charger? Does this even work with wireless chargers?

Good product with one exception
The OhSnap! Snap Grip mates well with my Google PIXEL 10 Pro cellphone. The diameter and circumference exactly match the 🧲 magnetic circle on the back of my mobile device. It's very thin as advertised and the finger hold stays flat and unobtrusive when not in use.Contrary to the video marketing promotion that had drawn me to purchase the Snap Grip was the aspect of the device making one's phone stick to magnetic 🧲 capable metal (like steel) surfaces in the vertical position. This aspect had great appeal to me but I am sadly disappointed this feature is what I personally deem as false advertisement. I do recognize that perhaps my cellphone is too heavy and its weight simply overcomes the magnetic 🧲 strength of the Snap Grip -- since, by itself unattached to a cellphone, it will stick to vertical metal surfaces. I will keep the product for its hand-holding function, but I just wish it would help my cellphone stick to metal surfaces as advertised.

Disappointed.
In theory it’s a good idea and useful but I have to remove it to wirelessly charge my phone (17pro) in both my car and home overnight. Will probably not buy another one in the future.

Started cautious, now nothing compares
I bought the OG grip on a whim and fell in love. I absolutely adore how I can slap it on my toolbox at work or the fridge at home and leave it there (thanks magnets!!) it definitely is the ultimate fidget and I sometimes catch myself popping the edge up and down listening to the click. As long as they keep up production and reliability, I’ll keep buying them!! (It’s hard to take a picture of the back of your phone when you’re using it so here ya go)My ONLY problem is bc I work in a machine shop, the metal shavings I encounter, whether they’ve appeared in my pocket or clung to my machine, the finish over the magnetic part seems to wear out quicker than usual. Not their fault but something worth mentioning for anyone in the trades that always has their phone in a side pocket or something

Doesn't live up to the hype
Advertised as the phone grip that doesn’t suck— but it does. While the design is neat in theory and feels quality, using it as a phone grip is cumbersome. The interior attachments are a flimsy plastic material— meaning the grip itself can’t hold the phone upright at any angle and tilts and tips. And despite having relatively thin fingers I found it difficult to thread my hands to use as a grip to hold my phone. It could be improved with a better hinge on the pop out though that may cause it to lose its signature thinness. Additionally my husband couldn’t charge with it on. I’ll consider keeping it for my kindle but ultimately just prefer the reliability of my MagSafe pop socket.

Super Disappointed
I purchased the newest version without realizing the company had significantly reduced the quality. The new grips no longer include the adhesive backing, which might not have been a major issue if the magnetic strength hadn’t also been noticeably reduced.Unfortunately, the magnets are no longer strong enough to reliably hold my phone on my car mount, attach to a vehicle fender without sliding down, or even stick securely to a refrigerator. Any vibration or minor bump sends my phone to the floor. This is especially disappointing because I’ve owned and loved three previous OhSnap grips. I ended up removing the new grip and reinstalling my older one so I could continue using my MagSafe mounts reliably. Based on my experience, this latest version is a significant step backward from previous generations.

Nice looking design.
I love the way it looks and works when holding the device with my fingers. But the magnets are not strong enough for a larger phone like the galaxy S26 ultra when trying to attach it to metal.

Not so boring!
The boring black snap grip is perfect to match with any phone or case color. The grip is comfortable, the magnets are strong, and it’s so slim women closed that it doesn’t add an extra bulge in your pocket nor does it get caught on anything when you’re trying to put it away. A necessary accessory for your phone.

Love this thing
It’s everything that was advertised and more. Not that I’ve intentionally abused it or anything, but it can definitely withstand a lot of fidgeting and being played with, which I guess was the point. If anyone else has gotten an iPhone pro max, you know how ridiculously big it is to hold with one hand (probably) so this is the first time I’ve invested in a grip like this or needed to. I also wanted it to match my orange iPhone so it was nice to have something that matches and no longer drop it. Thanks Ohsnap!

Really good but not perfect
I'm switching from a pop-socket, and the Snap Grip has been a fantastic upgrade. I love how thin and sleek it is, how secure the one-finger grip feels, and how strong the magnetic attachment is. The learning curve is minimal — it just takes a little practice to open and position your fingers quickly. Occasionally, after extended use, it may need a second snap to reattach, but overall it's a great accessory.
