    Sodastream Pepsi and Starry

    I bought both the Pepsi and Starry. They taste exactly like Pepsi and Starry. Use a little for a hint of flavor or a lot to overpower either way it taste exactly the same. I even used it with plain club soda and it works just great. Would definitely recommend! Could be a little cheaper,but it does seem to make a lot.

    Tastes good and such a great value over purchasing soda bottles or cans. Also, even non-diet options are not bad on calories. Finally, new design of these relative to the old ones with measuring caps) works fine, it is pretty easy to eyeball the amount to add (based on shade/color, etc.).

    not real sugar ...... after taste. NOT 4 slush machine.

    They state sugar, but it must be sugar substitute. I used it in a slushie machine and it kept on indicating low sugar content. I only fixed it by adding sugar water (a lot). The slush came out super sweet. Kids loved it though, but not adults. Also had a weird taste to it too.

    False labeling

    Only in the ingredients does it say diet - sucralose. It tastes really bad. This is false advertizing by making the consumer think this is the real deal.

    Terrible compared to Soda Stream's root beer. Syrup is thinner and tastes similar to a diet flavor. . . turns out there is sucralose in it. I really hope they don't replace Soda Stream's root beer with this one. Also not a fan of the new bottles.

    I am not sure what level of sweetness one of the bad reviewers is used to, but this is full of flavor. Making according to directions is plenty sweet. I am actually impressed with how good it is.

    Gross Stuff

    This stuff is the nastiest syrup I have ever bought. I quit using my soda stream for that reason. How does Soda Stream even have the registered trademark ability to use the Pepsi name.

    Hard pass- artificial sweetener added

    This is disgusting. I do not like artificial sweetener at all. I got the non-diet version for a reason. As soon as I tasted this, I thought I got the wrong item. But no, it is supposed to be regular. Then I read the ingredients and realized they add artificial sweetener anyway. So this is going back to the store as is the entire soda stream.
