Q: what's the difference between this and the e-terra model?

A: The E-Terra requires electricity and has a light, both of which limit the machine's use. And it is more expensive. The Terra works beautifly, doesn't require a plug-in or increase electrical use.

A: Hi there! We recommend pushing the carbonating button up to only 5 times when using your machine. Once flavoring is added, we do not recommend recarbonating.

A: Oh, you’ll know. When low, mine takes more C02 to attain the level of carbonation I prefer. Btw- I’ve had my machine for at least 15 years. Since they first came out and it is still doing great. The newer models may have an indicator.

Q: Can i put other drinks than water in the bottle?

A: You really shouldn’t. I’ve seen people blow the O rings inside that prevents C02 from escaping from the water bottle. When carbonating anything other than plain water, the C02 molecules will adhere to sugars etc and expand them. Same goes with adding the flavorings. Add slowly bc it will spew like a kids science project if that concentrate is added to quickly.

A: Hi there! Yes, the water needs to be filled to the fill line in the bottle in order to ensure proper and safe carbonation. If you prefer a smaller amount of sparkling water or bottle size, please note we do offer a 0.5L plastic carbonating bottle.

Having used a Soda Stream for some years now, I was none too happy when my machine died. How amazing it was that when I contacted the company, they (with my help) quickly diagnosed the problem, determined that the device had broken, and promptly arranged for me to receive a free replacement. They even made it possible for me to exchange my spare canister for the newer one my machine required. I really like the new machine; it seems much easier to use and attaching the canister (which was never really that difficult before) is super easy. I'm very pleased that I am doing business with these folks, and very impressed with how well they take care of their customers.

It isn’t working properly. The air is pushing out around the bottles when I go to carbonate them. It appears to be a seal issue. I emailed about this already. The last one I had if I held the carbonation button down it would overflow the bottle this new one I can hold it for 10 seconds and no overflow.

We have had our Sodastream for a year. It has completely replaced our soda habit. We’re able to control how much fizz AND how much syrup. I am a huge fan of the Bubly mixers, my husband loves the Starry and Pepsi versions. It is quiet and easy to keep clean.

This machine is easy to use. I usually press about 5 pumps and it is enough gas for my drink. It is not big so it doesn't take up a lot of room in my kitchen. Easy to make soda and sparking at home.

It was getting difficult to find unflavored sparkling water. If we did, we had to haul it home and then recycle all the plastic bottles. SodaStream seemed like just the ticket. We bought the Terra model, and now use our filtered refrigerated water to make delicious sparkling water at home. It's fun and simple. Love it!

I purchased the Terra model of SodaStream because I wanted something simple. All I wanted was some sparkling water from time to time while I go about my day. Well, let me tell you: from time to time has now become every single day! The Terra could not possibly be simpler to use, and I can "manufacture" bottles of sparkling water whenever I want, in a matter of seconds! No more going to stores or buying single-use materials. I am excited to explore flavors for the water eventually, but honestly, at this point, I just like the pure, delicious bubbly water that SodaStream makes so easy to create at home!
