Q: Is this the best soap to use without getting a rash?

A: I've never had a rash from using any soft-soap product. I will say though this particular version dries my hands out more and I prefer the Milk & Honey or Aloe Vera versions better.

Q: I can't get the pump to work. I push down and turn right, then push down to left but to no avail. What am I doing wrong?

A: Hello! If pump does not function, hold down button while pushing up on the center of the base. Hope this helps.

Not even worth 1 star. I give it a zero. I have bought the aquarium series with the 2 fishes on the front label for years and years. This new aquarium series with the single fish on the package front is not at all the same as it was. It absolutely stinks!! I want to return it. I am really disappointed and will no longer be buying Softsoap products.

I have been buying this aquarium soap solely for the wonderful scent since 2004. Sometimes I try new ones but always go back to this because I love the smell. I am so disappointed you changed this. It smells horrible. I just had to buy a generic version just because it smelled more like the original. I'm so sad about this change, please bring this back! I will not buy this new stuff.

I bought this to go to school as a required school supply. Smells ok. Washes away bacteria. Has a cute label on it. I know the kiddos will love it. I would recommend this product.

Been using for almost 20 years. The new Aquarium scent is disgusting. It smells like cheap mens cologne has been added. I have fragrance sensitivity and bought this specific soap because of its light scent. You’ve lost a long term loyal customer with this new horrid smell.

Softsoap Aquarium used to be the only hand soap we ever used, but since the scent changed, neither my wife nor I can tolerate it. It used to be a light, clean, barely-noticable scent, but now it's thick and cloying and overly floral.

Our family has used Softsoap Aquarium Liquid Hand Soap for many years because the unique scent was so clean, light and subtle. Were shocked to find that the fragrance has been changed, and it now has a very different scent that is strong, unpleasant scent. And that scent lingers! We're not sure why the company would change such a pleasant and unique fragrance. It seems like a true "New Coke" decision! By the way, we haven't found any other suitable fragrance in the current Softsoap collection.

EXTREMELY disappointed as apparently most everyone else is with the scent change!!! This was one of my favorite soaps… I’m very sensitive to smells and this one reeks. No thanks. I’ll be returning this and unfortunately will not buy it again unless they change it back.

I’ve been happily using this product forever; perhaps for two decades? Sure feels that way! Imagine my supreme disappointment to discover they recently changed the scent, and they did so without a label indicating the change. I’m heartbroken! I’ve had brain surgery through my nose twice, and I’m highly sensitive to scents as a result. This product was one of the few scented soaps I could tolerate. Now I can’t. It’s kind of floral but not quite, and it lingers on the skin for ages. I had to wash my hands with unscented dish detergent four times to get rid of the smell. Very disappointing.

I am unable to use the new formula. In my opinion, it is overly scented. I loved the old formula because I have scent allergies along with other members of my family. I have used the soft soap aquarium series for years. It was the only soap I was able to use without triggering my migraines. I am very disappointed in the change. Hopefully, you have received enough feedback that the company will continue to produce a product that scent sensitive people can use under a new packaging or bring back the old formula to the aquarium series. Until then, I will be on the search for another brand.

Why would you change a good thing? The previous version smell like fresh soap. This smells like horrible perfume. And it now dries my hands out. Will be throwing away.

I'm very disappointed with the new scent. I usually purchase hand soap in large quantities at a time & was pleased to purchase more on a rare trip to the store. I though I was purchasing the same traditional product I've used for years. A few weeks later I refilled pumps & wondered where the strong scent was coming from. I don't think I can return what I have. It will be donated & I will be purchasing another minimally scented or unscented product in the future.
