The best bod SPF
This SPF 50 not only blends in really well, it lasts a really long time because you aren’t getting a too thick or too runny product. It just feels like a regular moisturizing body lotion and I love that it’s safe and something I’m comfortable with putting on my skin every day. Everyone in my family uses it every day in the summer!

10/10 The BEST clean sunscreen I have found!
I am obsessed with this sunscreen. As being someone who loves to be at the beach, I have been looking forever for a sunscreen that would keep me protected from the sun, but was clean & didn't have a strong smell. This sunscreen checked off all my boxes & then some. It rubs in so smooth, zero white cast, no smell / fragrance, not sticky or shiny, water proof, & SPF 50! My husband loves to surf & getting him to put on sunscreen is pretty much impossible, but he loves this sunscreen. He actually puts it on and it has helped so much to keep his back, neck, and face from burning while he surfs for an hour. I highly highly recommend!

White cast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sunscreen isn't the worst, but it does leave a major white cast I'm not a fan of. The sunscreen is also VERY thick which isn't bad but spreading it is a little different because it is more of a thick cream then lotion? Maybe I'm used to water-based items to much not sure. My main issue is the white cast it leaves.

Blends in sooo easily!
I especially love putting this on my shoulders, arms, and hands when reapplying sunscreen throughout the day because it rubs in so quickly, does not leave me feeling greasy, and my tattoos do not get that weird white cast/faded look that most other mineral sunscreens give them. Works wonderfully for my sensitive skin, too! Love it!

this product leaves an irradecent white on dark clothing
this is brand and product came highly recommended. It went on well and had a pleasent smell. Unfortunately, even after 20 minutes it left a white irradecent cast on my dark clothing. I didn't notice it on my skin, just on the transfer to other things. I'm sure this has to do with the mineral base...alas I returned it.

I will definitely buy again
For starters I have very sensitive skin and most sunscreens give me hives. This sunscreen does leave a slight white cast on the skin but is also easily rubbed in. I have lupus and I get really sick in the sun but I was careful with my application and managed not to get sick or hives on very sunny days. I would definitely buy this sunscreen again and highly recommend it.

My new favorite mineral sunscreen!
Gentle to my skin. Requires typical rubbing in for no show since it is a mineral sunscreen. I like the consistency compared to other minerals sunscreens I used in the past. It’s more creamy’ish. It stays put during working out or at the pool. I even used it on my face a few times to run and I never broke out. My son has acne and this has been perfect for him. No scent at all. This is my family’s new favorite sunscreen and we live in the south where the sun is relentless.

It did a great job of protecting my skin. The only place I burned was my wrists because I washed my hands right after applying it to my body and I forgot to reapply it there! It was good with my sensitive skin, too.

Itchy/break out
I really wanted to like this because of the ingredients but it made my face so itchy and was breaking me out especially around my neck area. Unfortuantely will need to return this and stick with my Think sunscreen. It was out of stock which is why I thought I’d give this a try.

Fair skin- no white cast. Olive skin - white cast.
I have pretty fair skin so this doesn’t leave a white cast as long as I rub it in. My husband had more olive skin and it left him with a white cast, especially on his hairy legs where it’s harder to really rub it in. Seems to be working great for me tough. There isn’t really a scent, but the scent that it does have is a little odd.

My new go to suncare product. I have vitiligo (think being a partial albino) so sun block is a basic staple in my life. When I started my search again this spring for my next best sunscreen options it didn't go well. I always start my search at the EWG website https://www.ewg.org/sunscreen/best-sunscreens/best-moisturizers-with-spf/. I tried several of other brands without success. Pretty much every other brand of mineral sunscreen I have tried is just too thick, heavy, greasy and leaves the typical white film and cast. Then you just hope you don't sweat or it gets ugly and embarrassing fast. Even though this sunscreen is still mineral based it is a lot lighter and a lot less greasy. I've learned that some film on the surface of your skin is just a necessary byproduct of mineral based sunscreen. That's pretty much how it works, by sitting on the surface of your skin and blocking and absorbing the UV rays. Every Solara product I have tried has been best of class when it came to how it felt on the skin. This Mineral Defense Sport works best for me on larger areas of exposed skin.
