Q: can this be used with a stick blush?

submitted by LuLu - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi LuLu, The stippling foundation is a multi-purpose brush used to apply cream products for an airbrushed finish. To use with a stick blush, lightly pat or dot the blush onto the cheek area. Once you have applied the desired amount, gently swirl the brush in small circles to blend. Thank you!

I’ve used so many of SK brushes and loved pretty much all of them except for this one. It’s pretty bad tbh. The bristles are so pokey and seem to become even more stiff with time. I’m giving it two stars instead of one because it’s really the only brush in all the collections that isn’t good.

Used this to apply max studio fix and it applied super streaky. (Applying with a very light hand helped a lil) Not sure why everyone is saying flawless application cause it was far from it. I also picked up the large buffing brush and that one seemed to do a much better job.

I guess I am the only one here who doesn’t care for this brush! It leaves brush strokes on my face, I have to take a good 10 mins to blend it in my face. Also, the bristles turn really hard after a while! I did a wash with vinegar and dawn soap and it’s still SO hard to clean! They don’t clean easy and once dried, the bristles scratched my face! I hate that I spent $20 on this too.

Originally, I was quite skeptical of spending 20 dollars on a brush, as I’ve never purchased a brush more than 10 dollars. I had originally purchased the buffing brush in gold and white, but I found that one highlighted dry patches and texture. I recently purchased it cosmetics cc cream, and have been having a hard time with application. With my fingers is streaky, with the buffing brush, too cakey and felt oily. I was excited to try this brush. This is now the third day that I have used the brush for foundation application and holy moly, it is exactly what I needed. It applies the foundation with just enough coverage for any red or discoloration (I have rosacea, so red dry patches), but it allows me skin to shine through. I can still see freckles, beauty marks, but my rosacea is perfectly covered. The texture of the brush allows me to not over apply and creates such a smooth overall appearance. Definitely worth it.

I've been using this brush for my bb/cc cream and it is perfect. It blends easily and my skin looks flawless. I imagine that it work just as well with liquid foundation. I can't wait to try it for that! I love this brush!

This brush is so nice. I think I have just found my new brush brand. I love the feel of the brush. It not to heavy or light but just right. My makeup goes on smooth and even without having to press hard on it. The brush was soft too. This brush did exactly what I like.

I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I really love this Sonia K. brush. The bristles are very soft and blend out my foundation nicely. Gives an airbrush look. I have also used this brush with powder and works well. Sonia K. brushes are some of of my favorite brushes. The quality is great.

I often watch the makeup videos applying what appears to be a perfect coverage product. I always thought it was the product itself, but learned it was how it was applied. A buffer type brush makes all the difference: Even coverage, all over the face and along the hairline to blend and smooth. Easier to clean, too! I received this product free in exchange for my review.

This brush blends my makeup so flawlessly. My foundation looks as if it is airbrushed on after using this brush. I use a liquid foundation and I don't think my foundation has ever gone on so smoothly without me having to do a lot of work. This brush covers a lot of space at once so it isn't a brush you should use if you are trying to put makeup on under your eyes. This brush is a new staple in my makeup routine.
