Q: Why doesn't this device come with charging cord or station?
A: Hi Gammagamma, thanks for reaching out about Sony WIC100 Bluetooth Wireless In-Ear Headphones. The Sony WIC100 Bluetooth Wireless In-Ear Headphones do not typically come with a dedicated charging cord or station for a few common reasons: Standard USB Charging: These headphones charge via a USB Type-C port located on the neckband. This is a widely adopted standard, and many users already have USB-C cables from their phones or other devices. Including another cable would increase the cost and potentially create electronic waste if the user already has one. Flexibility for Users: By not including a specific charging adapter, users have the flexibility to charge their headphones using various USB power sources they might already own, such as phone chargers, computer USB ports, or portable power banks. Cost Efficiency: Omitting the charging accessories helps keep the overall cost of the headphones down, making them a more budget-friendly option. Focus on Core Functionality: The primary function of the device is wireless audio playback. The focus in the packaging is usually on the headphones themselves and essential documentation. What you will likely find in the box: The Sony WIC100 headphones themselves. Earbuds in various sizes to ensure a comfortable fit. A quick start guide and other documentation. How to charge the Sony WIC100: You will need a USB Type-C cable (which is likely the same cable you use for many modern Android phones or other devices) and a USB power source such as: A USB wall adapter (like your phone charger). A USB port on a computer. A portable power bank. Simply plug the USB-C cable into the port on the headphones (usually protected by a small cover) and connect the other end to your USB power source. An indicator light on the headphones will usually illuminate to show that charging has begun.
