Q: Can this be use for brows removal also?

A: Sima is designed to be used on somewhat flat surfaces. It is not for use on the nose, lips and eyelids. Sima can be used on the eyebrows but only the upper portion above or the flat area just under the brow, just not down onto the lid. You can also use on all other areas of the face and neck. It should be used in the direction of the hair growth.

easy to use and gentle on skin!
The SIMA dermaplane razors are super easy to use and make my skin feel so smooth right after. I was a little nervous at first, but the blades are gentle and didn’t irritate my skin at all. They remove peach fuzz and dry skin really well, and I like the comfortable grip on the handle. Such a great find! It’s affordable, effective and perfect for keeping my skin glowing!

So easy on skin and even easier to use
I have a slightly more complex skin care routine than the average person and always make sure to moisturize and use sunscreen, however, I am newer to high tech skincare and facials, so when I got the opportunity to try the Spa Sciences SIMA Deluxe Sonic Dermaplaning Tool for Exfoliation & Peach Fuzz Removal I was a bit nervous that I wouldn’t be able to figure it out and/or would hurt myself with the blade. I’ve never been to a professional dermatologist before or had any type of this spa service done prior to my experience using the SIMA sonic dermaplaning device from Spa Sciences, however I found the SIMA sonic dermaplaning device to be extremely easy to use and navigate for a close, clean, and precise exfoliation of dead skin from the hard to reach facial areas. It took about one to three minutes of toying with the right amount of pressure and slack on my skin with the angle of the SIMA sonic dermaplaning device from Spa Sciences to get the right level of exfoliation, but after a few minutes I totally got the hang of using this type of spa level device and was able to shed a layer of dead skin that was clogging my pores and leaving visible peach fuzz and subtle on my face including my upper lip, chin, both cheeks and my forehead. I had zero irritation of my skin after using the product for about ten minutes using extremely gentle brush strokes (going in either direction), against the grain of how my hair was growing in each section of my face. I am very happy with my purchase of the SIMA sonic dermaplaning device from Spa Sciences and will be incorporating the product into my regular maintenance routine, as well as recommending the product to all of my friends and family - people have been asking what I’ve been doing differently lately! I absolutely love the SIMA sonic dermaplaning device from Spa Sciences, the quality is fantastic, the product is easy to use and control, and I absolutely love the shade of baby pink that the base of the product comes in. The razors are easy to change and I didn’t nick myself with the blade whilst trying to swap the razor heads and disposing of the razor head that I used in each grooming session. 10/10 purchase experience!

Needs sharper blades to properly work
I used this Sema product thinking I had removed all the peach fuzz. Only to realize later that day, when I looked in the mirror it had missed spots but removed in other spots. I thought “ok, maybe I’m doing this wrong even though I’ve been derma planning for years with a blade. I kept trying it for three weeks and I was getting the same results… the blades are too weak and not sharp enough to remove hair and dead skin cells properly. If Sema can start making sharper blades this will be a great product. Until then, save your money.

Piece of expensive trash
Planning to return it today. Piece of expensive trash is what this is. It's been charging for 2hrs now with an outlet that works fine for other devices but not this one apparently. I'm taking it to be an omen and will be returning this piece of expensive crappy trash later today. I'll use a cheap throwaway razor instead. Based on the reviews that is probably the safer option anyways. But I'm definitely going to do everything in my power to get my $30.99 back. It's brand new just took it out of the box and have not used it yet because I figured it would be best to charge it first. I still have the box so I guess I'll just box it back up and take it back to customer service for a well deserved return.

I wish I hadn’t waited so long to try this! Like others, I believed the myths that dermaplaning would make hair grow back darker, thicker, or longer. It doesn’t! I was also afraid I would cut myself with sharp blades. I love that this one has guards to keep you from cutting yourself. I didn’t get a nick, scrape, or cut at all! Just be sure to use the proper angle. I also have pretty bad rosacea and sensitive skin, but this didn’t irritate my skin at all. I think it actually helped because skincare products and topical medications are better absorbed now with all the fine hair and dead skin removed! I LOVE IT!
