A: This just happened to me and my son! Definitely scared us. I only allow him to play with them while I’m monitoring them. I don’t like the fact that anyone complete stranger can tap in and hear my CHILD playing on a toy.
submitted byJbutter - 3 months agoA: Yes, it's possible if they are using the same radio wave. I had one walkie talkie that was left on suddenly picked up other people's voices few times. Never clear enough to understand or have a conversation with a stranger, but it can get creepy.

Q: How far is the range? This question has been answerd by "Product Expert" 3 times. The first time they said 300 ft, the second time they said 500 ft, and the 3rd time they said 1 mile. Which is it?!!

Q: How can you use these walkie to walkie without spider Man talking over you? We cannot talk back and forth because spider Man comes on every single time. So frustrating. Is this a setting in missing?

A: Hello - Thanks for your question! The Talk button is on the left side of the unit. There are 2 front buttons with the right side button for repeat sound track and the left side button for playing sound tracks.

Perfect toy for our Spidey obsessed toddler. Easy to use for little hands. Love that the screen lights up to show when the talk button is pressed - a great visual to show our toddler when it’s ready for him to talk. It fits well in his hand and he has loved using it! It has worked well all over our house - even with one upstairs and one downstairs. We have not checked how far distance wise they truly work.

They don’t work. We tried TWO different packages of these sets with the same issue. One works and one doesn’t light up or receive. Such a disappointment. This was our third trip to the store trying to get kids walkie talkies. Will return again and buy from another retailer. :(

These Don't Work
What an embarrassing gift to give. They look great but they don't work for even short distances. The sound is inaudible when it does come through but it mostly doesn't come through at all. My grandsons are so disappointed and I feel let down that I gave a poor quality gift. Sadly, I purchased two packs; One for each grandson.

Privacy concern
Cute but creepy. My toddler and I were playing with these and heard a man talking. I guess that’s common with cheap walkie talkies. But pretty creepy to me. Will discontinue these. Apparently if you don’t want that issue you have to invest in more pricey walkie talkies which is a bummer because kids love to play with these things! But the privacy is a concern to me.

Waste if money
I bought this for my son as a gift and when he eventually opened the package only one of the walkie talkies worked. We tried everything to try and get the other one to work. I ended up throwing them away because it was too late to request a refund.

NOT SAFE.
DO NOT BUY. These were great until we started hearing strangers on the other end. BOTH walkie talkies were in the same room and one grown man’s voice came over it and then a little girl started talking and responded to what we were saying back. Took the batteries out and smashed them after. NOT SAFE.
