Description

About the Book

The author holds on to the term Asperger or Aspie. It defines him. He shows us how.

Book Synopsis

Asperger Syndrome has been given many faces, myths as well as labels, ideal as well as prejudices. Aspie, however, are easier to understand than one might think, akin to a gear set up differently. A world that thirsts for learning and has a lot to offer... to whoever is willing to give them that chance. This book is a collection of thirty-one illustrations evoking the daily life of an autistic person, this time not from a scientific perspective, but from a poetic, human and endearing one. A personal Asperger's Fresco, vibrant with authenticity, tinges with memories, passions and tributes to geek culture.

About the Author

Corentin Hunter is an everyday storyteller. Born in a family of artists, he studied animation at the Cegep du Vieux Montréal and is now a freelance artist juggling children's illustrations and commercial animation. Even a hundred lives would never satisfy his appetite for creation. A day without creating is like an empty plate for supper and an empty pint with friends!
