this is the worst can opener i've ever used. wouldn't cut consistently, shredded the can, at one point i even tried using it left handed in case maybe that would help (it didn't). you couldn't pay me to use it again.

Get it - its affordable and sharp
This is sharp! Cuts right through cans. I’ve been dealing with an old standard can opener that barely cuts, and one of those fancy ones that removes the lid without cutting. This thing is heaven sent. It feels slightly heavy and well made, and looks nice, and is easy to use. My 5yo cut himself playing with it (not a deep cut), so watch out. Seems sturdy but I haven’t had it long. A good price at $10. Don’t overthink the can opener purchase like I did!
