Q: Are the latches blue or more turquoise/aqua?

A: Thank you for your question. Sterilite refers to this color of latch Blue Aquarium. This would be closer to a turquoise than blue.

lids are an issue
lids are hard to open and close, not clear (despite the description making it sound like they would be, and did not seal as tight as I expected since some contents still seeped out. the containers like this with the clear lids seem to latch different and are easier to manipulate. unrelated, delivery was a mess as it was left in the snow, no where near our door. I had to hunt for it after seeing an email saying it was delivered.
