A string of lights wraps perfectly around the insert, and slides right into place! I keep the lights wrapped around it as I put them up, so they don’t get tangled on the ground. It even has a slot for the plug, so you know where the ends are!

With this box, I’m able to wrap my Christmas lights and no longer have to worry about my lights getting tangled up when not in use. When ready to use again they’re on a reel which allows you to unroll as you decorate. I also love that each reel holds 400 lights and 4 reels come with box.

5 stars for containers, 2 stars for vendor. The box I received was clearly a return. Multiple layers of tape resealing the box, small amounts of dirt/leaves/hair on & inside the containers. The boxes themselves seem structurally fine when I inspected them, so I assume the product was tried out but not what the previous purchaser was looking for. VM Express needs do a significantly better job cleaning up returns. I will enjoy my Sterilite boxes after wiping them down and avoid this “Target Partner.”

I've needed this light strand solution for so long and happy to have finally found it. Super easy to store light strands on the reels and then hang in the tote. Also makes putting up the lights much easier as cords are no longer tangled.

I bought this 4 pack last year and I LOVE IT! They are an organizers dream! Got them out this year, no mess-cords still wrapped and oh so easy to unwrap. I have my garland and all my lights in these. Con: back side of lid doesn’t stay on when you’re opening them. Be careful not to drop and break it.

I found this to not only to be useful for tree lights but can also be used to store other items. Since I have a pre-lit tree I used the container for storage of my nut cracker figurines. Just rolled them in bubble wrap and it was a perfect fit.

It says that the dimensions are 18-3/8 x14-7/8 x 12-3/8. That is the length and with of the cover only which is considerably larger than the useful part of the tote. The actual useful dimensions are 15 x 12 x 11-1/2. So my almost 100 year old box which is 14 x14 was pleasantly mistaken. It’s nice quality, but just feel betrayed by the actual useful dimensions.

The dimensions listed on our website and labels are the measurements taken from the widest points of the product, typically the lid or top, and include any protrusions such as latches. This tells you if the item will fit into a specific space or area that it is intended for . Inside bottom dimensions are smaller as the product tapers downward. We are very sorry for any confusion this may have caused.
