A: Hi David J! The 27 Gal. Heavy Duty Storage Tote is made of Polypropylene plastic, and is designed for general household storage. Most household storage purposes do not require suggested weight limitations. Our products have not been specifically tested for various weight potential, and we suggest consumers use good judgment and not overload them or stack more than three high. This could cause distortion or eventual damage. When storing items away, use good judgment and be mindful of the weight in each tote and place the heaviest tote on the bottom.

This might be my new go-to storage tote. It's heavy duty as stated. The lid doesn't bend under the weight of another tote, and the tote itself doesn't sag/bend out of shape under the weight of heavier items.

the lid design isn’t my favorite because it feels less secure. i’d prefer a design with snapping handles but you can’t beat the quality for the price. i was able to fit a lot in these and they’re pretty deep.
