Q: According to the a 2019 study by the FDA only Zinc Oxide & Titanium Dioxide are effective at protecting from UVA & UVB rays. Seeing as neither of those ingredients are here, how does protect my hair?

I recommend this product! It's a little expensive for the amount you get, but I have used it several times this summer and haven't sunburnt my scalp at all so it's worth it. I recommend spraying it 6-10in from your scalp so you don't get too greasy. I think the bottle will last me a couple summers at least!

Great idea! I wear my hair short and have issues with the top of my scalp burning. I just spray it on and forget it. It doesn't leave the hair stiff and provided sun protection. Next, you should develop a leave in conditioner for in the shower.

This is my second bottle of this stuff and I love it. I often wear braids at the beach and my scalp has gotten sun burned where my hair is parted in the past but this sunscreen prevents that. It's also great for thinning hair and babies/toddlers with thin hair. I highly recommend this product.

This is truly a 3 star review for me. I like having this product in my pool bag because it’s convenient to quickly spray on my kids’ scalps. But for the price you could just use regular spray sunscreen and it would work just as well. The texture is no different from spray. It does smell good, I think the nice smell is probably all you’re paying for.

I live in south Texas where it’s over 100° every single day during the summer. I feel like scalp protection is often not thought about and this is the perfect product for keeping your head sunburn-free! It does leave hair a bit greasy, but I mostly use this when out in the pool so I’d be washing my hair right after anyway. Doesn’t bother me, I’d rather have greasy hair than a sunburn!
