Was going good until the pump broke
The product seemed good – I’ve used foaming self tanners before—and this one was going on great. However, after two pumps, the pump broke. So I had gotten like my lower leg done on one leg and then the pump stopped creating foam and all this brown liquid just started dribbling out all over the place. I’m going to exchange the product today and hopefully I just got one defective pump and I’ll be able to tell whether the product actually develops into a nice tan!

Terrible Jergens is better
The color itself on your skin is nice and Golden if it stays on. It was applied as directed and after applying it to the skin it comes off on everything clothes, bed sheets, anything fabric you touch it's coming off on it. This was even several hours after applying. It's all over everything which is ridiculous.

Really pleased with this self tanning mouse so far! I have only used it one time but am very happy with the golden glow it gave my skin, I look like I just got back from a tropical vacay! It was very easy to apply tho I wish I had remembered to get one of the mitts or at least some gloves because my palms were orange for like 3 days even tho I washed my hands immediately after applying. I did notice some stickiness but it wasn't unbearable, & I have sensory issues & cannot stand to feel sticky, the smell was pleasant at first but kind of smelled like corn chips by the next day, since I had left it on overnight to develop the color. And you will lose a lot of the color once you shower but I am planning to reapply every few days or as needed to keep up the color. I didn't have any issues with it staining clothing or bedding, and it does not look orange toned at all, it developed into a beautiful golden bronze color. For reference I am very, very pale but with olive toned skin & green veins. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, however it is the first time I've ever used a self tanning product but def was easy to use for a first timer.

It definitely has a smell like all tanners do this one is too orange for my liking I like an olive shade better I’m fair skinned the one thing I liked is it blends well I didn’t have any patches or anything it’s pretty easy to apply without any streaks or anything no dry patches anywhere I missed a little spot on my wrist and you can’t tell just because it blended so well Just don’t like the shade if you like a warm gold tan this is great for you

Not as good as their other formulations
I have used quite a few different self tanners and this is one of the more disappointing. Despite having very fair skin, I need 2 coats to tell a difference and what does show up all washes off as soon as I shower (unlike other self tanners that leave a slight glow behind). I've tried Tanologist's regular untinted mousse before with better results and will likely switch back (or to another brand).

Bought a bottle and used it once. then the pump quit working. Exchanged it and the second one quit working faster than the first one. feel like it's more of a paint than a self tanner. tgis one is going back, too. Will go back to Jergens.

SPILL - PACKAGING NOT SECURE
I genuinely love this brand and this product so much. I am very very skinned, but I use the medium tan regularly. I was so disappointed with my most recent purchase. I had the bottle (with the cap securely on) laying down in a drawer for storage efficiency, as I always store it. A few hours later I come to find that the products internal hardware was not properly secured, causing 75% of the bottles contents to leak all over my vanity and the floor. I have never had this happen before. Not only was it quite the mess to clean up, but also now I have to spend money on a whole new bottle that should’ve lasted me another month. Please improve your packaging :(

Let me start off by saying I'm a fair skinned red head and I have been spray tanned at a salon but I don't really ever tan myself. I saw a girl in target on an aisle and overheard her talking about Tanologist to her friend (since it was ona display) and her tan was soooo pretty. So I bought some. Let me say the color- medium- is PERFECT. I slept in it overnight and just showered and it's not orange or fake looking at all and it's streak free! There was some user error- I exfoliated and shaved 1.5 hours before application but I was too excited to try it so that's on me. But it isn't spotty in my pores or anything. It's seriously a gorgeous shade and I used a mitt and I think it looks just as good as a professional and this was only $17! There's also a little spot in between my shoulder blade that I couldn't reach and I read about DIY extenders too late but I'll try that next time!

Malfunctioning pump
The formula is pretty good and blends okay. But 2 pumps in, the bottle pump stopped working. So the product is essentially trash now since the mousse can no longer be dispensed from the bottle.

How to self tan easily!!
Smells good, but I don't use it like most ppl do! I use a squirt of this mousse and mix it, in my hands, with a squirt of any kind of body moisturizer of your choosing..That way,.it glides on easily, is moisturizing and gives u a nice tan all at the same time! U can use ANY instant self tanner that way! I mix all of myself tanners with regular body moisturizers that way. I also use the same on my face! Works every time, make your self tanner last a lot longer and moisturizes your skin perfectly!

Beautiful color, easy to apply, however this brand does not last. It washes off in a day, even when you sleep in it and shower the next day. Really disappointed as the jergens I used years ago lasted and was buildable, as well as the Australian gold line is great. Very disappointing. Please save your money and get something else.
