I use a combo of the nude fake awake on my lower/inner waterline to brighten my eyes, then brown liner on the outer edge to add depth. Works great and lasts all day. Takes away the redness from a tired mama of littles. Glad to have added this into my routine!

I think the product itself is great. I got it as a gift and at first i thought the rubber nub with the transparent plastic cap WAS the product and was very confused when no pigment was showing and it felt very rough and rubbery against the skin. Which was what a lot of 1 star reviews were complaining about. In their defense, it really doesn't look like this is a double sided product since the end with the actual product has a cap that perfectly blends in with the rest of the base of the liner and it's pretty easy to miss the line that indicates it's a cap. Overall i think this product got some unfair ratings and if you use it right, its actually a good product and compared to the rubbery texture people claim it has, it actually applies very smooth.

I bought this pencil in Opal, the light pink color. However, it has a blue shift and looks blue from every angle on my waterline. The good news is it wore off quickly.

It's a cool idea but mine pooped off after a little while from being on my water line.

Im on my 2nd pencil and am still in love with this brand's product. I tried a competitor from the drugstore, and there was no comparison. The tube definitely does last for a good amount of time so it's worth the price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not my favorite Tarte product. The smudge edge is hard to work with and not compatible with sensitive eyes. I do really like how there is a sharpener built into the design. Would be great if your using it like eye liner but if your only using it to brighten the corner, it gives very thin lines that are semi difficult to blend.
