I used this soap for more than 15 years but no more. The reformulation - no tingle, no refreshing scent, less slick when shaving - ruined it. Your product team has let you down. No amount of marketing will make this overpriced, mild as Ivory soap, pale imitation worthy of the original Body Bar reputation. Even the physical appearance hints at the poor quality. No more plastic wrap to preserve the Tea Tree oil, a square bar without any imprint of the Paul Mitchell brand (understand why you don't want to be associated with this thing), and far fewer specks of the quality ingredients that added to its ability to exfoliate. Discontinuing it would have been a disappointment but at least honorable. Selling a sham imitation under the same name announces to the world that you no longer care about quality. Redemption is within your grasp. Confess your mistake and return to the original formulation.

This soap smells good and is refreshing. I've even had it clear skin rashes.

This bar soap has been a staple for my family for the last 20 years and I recently opened up a new bar and it is not the same! After reading recent reviews, I’m not alone. I am not happy with this new formulation and sadly, will no longer purchase the body bar in the future.

I’m so upset. This soap has been my holy grail for YEARS. I’ve dealt with the constant and significant price increases, but this new reformulation is TERRIBLE. It feels different straight out of the box. No longer luxurious, highly scented or tingly. It reminds me of Lever 2000 bar soap, now. HUGE MISS.

This new version of the soap is horrible !! Please bring back the original version!! The smell is gone and also the tingling feeling you would get when using it!!

Poor. You changed the formulation to save money and charge more. I will be looking elsewhere now. Hope whoever changed the formulation is happy ruining a good thing.... yuck!

I've been buying the Tea Tree soap for years. I loved it. It had a terrific, invigorating smell and tingled on your skin. It was well worth the money in my opinion. But no more. They've recently changed the formulation, and the company can "spin" this decision all they want, however the fact remains that their new formulation...well...it sucks. They've clearly reduced the amounts of all the ingredients that made it special and unique and turned it into a generic soap...no different from so many others on the market today. I used my (soon to be) last bar ever this morning, and it leaves that same tacky feeling on your skin like all the crappy soaps currently available in your local supermarket. This is how brands die...by taking what made their products special and unique and turning them into nothing special. Not worth the money.

The main factors that drive my bar soap purchases are 1) can I use it on my face 2) does it remove deoderant/antiperspirant from my underarms on the 1st or 2nd try 3) does it leave my skin neutral and not stripped or dry 4) does it smell neurtral or good 5) does it last long enough for me not to feel ripped off 6) do I feel clean with minimal effort 7) does it remove any and all Body Odor 100% -- this bar is perfect, other than being costly and using conventional ingredients. I expirement with more natural bars and body washes, but keep coming back this this. i'm done testing for now, and I'm sticking with this.

Great product if you have body acne it will help to get rid of that. Also super nice to use if you’re on vacation and you have a sunburn it is super soothing and cooling on the skin

I have been using this soap for years. Would give zero stars if possible. I purchased it from another source but am writing to you as the manufacturer in hopes of bringing back the original formula. The new formula is no longer SPECIAL. I was so disappointed when I opened up the bar and got in the shower. The fresh peppermint minty smell was gone as well as the fresh tingling sensation. Why on earth would you change something that was PERFECT. I will no longer purchase such a terrible soap; I am sure others will feel the same way including the reviewer right before me. PLEASE BRING BACK ORIGINAL FORMULA!!
