    Too expensive

    I really like this shampoo, so the the two stars are not for the product. They are for the increase in price. I don't want to pay $50 for a shampoo that we go through quickly with a family of 4. If Target negotiates a better price, I would pick this back up.

    Honest Review

    Hi there, honest review here. I have straight hair, and this shampoo/ conditioner works exceptionally well for me. The shampoo has a minty smell and cooling effect that is refreshing however, I noticed it’s not as fragrantly potent. After just 2 days I can smell my natural hair scent & oils. I think it was partly due to me misusing the conditioner. I had placed conditioner on my scalp which caused oil to build up quicker. So DO NOT do what I did and place conditioner only on ends/ middle of hair. I think a nice fragrance shampoo would be helpful as the tea tree shampoo is meant to be used only 2-3 times a week to detox.

    why did they cheapen the formula????

    Used to love this shampoo but along with the new recycled (and very cheap looking) bottle they also changed the formula and literally took out all the good stuff and replaced with cheap fake cleaners. Why such an expensive high-end product would cheapen out like that is beyond me. Even the tea tree oil is now replaced with tea tree water!! and ingredients like wheat germ oil, white ginger, algea, aloe, rosemary, lavender and many other leaf extracts are all gone. Hey, if they're going to cut production costs by 90 percent they should charge less to. I guess this is what happens when a company gets greedy. Sad, because it was such a good product.

    Sweet relief

    I've been using this product the tea tree lavender conditioner and tea tree scrub with a head massage scrubber. It's made such a difference with my scalp psoriasis! Haven't used the steroid cream in months.

    Changed formula, dryer scalp

    I loved the older formula in the opaque bottle- the ingredients list was much shorter and gentler on my scalp. I loved that it left my oil-prone scalp clean for a few days. I purchased this one in the see-through bottle, and after a few uses my scalp started to get super dry to the point that I was literally rubbing my scalp for a full day. Then I compared the reviews and the ingredients list and figured it is not the same shampoo at all except for the tea tree oil. I stopped using it, but had 1-2 more weeks of itching, with painful bumps on my scalp (like pimples).
