    Breakfast every day

    Eggs and turkey bacon go in it nearly every morning. I never crank the flame up high, since moderate heat cooks evenly in this pan. A little Pam and it washes with hot water and soap. Still looks brand new.

    Too slow heating

    There's a good weight to this pan, so my hopes were high. It looks really nice and the handle is well riveted. It's mostly flat, though the centre rises slightly. My main issue is how long it takes to heat: surprisingly slow next to my T-Fal or even my Circulon. On performance, I've only had two weeks, mostly cooking eggs, which makes release easy to judge by how much oil you need. Non-PTFE pans never quite match Teflon, and while I appreciate the safer materials, this isn't as slick as other ceramic or non-PTFE pans I've tried. T-Fal is usually very slick at first and then the thin coating wears off within months, and I suspect this won't last long either, but the slow heat-up is the real disappointment.

    Ten months, useless

    Ten months of use. It started beautifully with a great nonstick surface. The label says never to heat it above medium, which I obeyed, even though I'd rather fry on medium-high or high. Mostly eggs went in it. Eggs now stick to the bottom, which makes it pretty much pointless as a nonstick pan. For what I spent compared with store-bought pans, I expected more life out of it. Disappointed, and I won't order again. Buy this if you're content replacing pans every four or five months.

    Stir fry is easier

    stir frying is a different job now. the sloped sides let me actually toss instead of stir, and the pan holds its heat when a pile of cold veg lands in it. nothing catches even with sugar in the sauce. cleanup afterward is nothing.

    Family of five approved

    feeding five people means this thing gets worked over daily. i figured ceramic wouldnt survive that, and seven months later the surface is intact and just as slick. it goes through the dishwasher twice a week and comes out looking new, which i know isnt the advice but there it is. sloped sides make tossing stir fry easy and twelve inches fits a full family dinner in one go.

    Sparkly silver replacement

    Replacing our chipping Teflon pans was the goal; I wanted stainless but needed one ceramic to make eggs simpler. This won on price and reviews and so far it's been right. Good weight, and it spreads heat well. For eggs I bring it up on medium-high and cook them fast, rather than the low and slow approach stainless needs, and that works nicely. My cooktop is flat electric, and while the base of this skillet isn't perfectly flat it doesn't seem to matter. The color is a sparkly silver; fortunately my husband has no objection. I'd buy it again.

    Great on gas

    Ordered the wok first since we've moved to a gas stove, liked it enough to add the 12 inch frying pan, and both perform beautifully on gas. Durable, and they take the heat well. The color choices are lovely too.

    Fried chicken star

    Fries chicken beautifully. Even when something burns or catches it lifts straight off and cleans perfectly. I love this pan and would absolutely recommend it. Packaged perfectly, too.
