We suggest using the Toner in the morning before your Vitamin C. This combination of Glycolic Acid and Vitamin C can increase collagen production and smooth skin, but it's best to stagger application to keep skin from getting irritated. This is a great product. I am 57 years old and this works great for mature skin and really helps when preping my face for mositurizer, sunscreen, and foundation. It helps (with the other things) to keep my foundation from highlighting creases, pores, and fine lines. This is a staple of my daily routine with or without foundation. I have sensitive skin and surprisingly no reaction to it unlike some of the reviews. I rub a small amount all over my face and neck then pat in. Creates a nice glowy layer under my other skincare and makeup products. Been using for a few weeks with no issues. I avoid my undereye and eyelids to avoid a potential reaction. Little to no scent. I would recommend it given my pleasant experience, but I’d say always patch test new skincare. :)

If you really want to make sure your face is moisturizer and supple all the time then this snow mushroom toner by Thayer's is a hidden gem that should be in your arsenal. It does a great job of gentling cleansing your face, and adding a great foundation for your serums and moisturizer. Another thing I love is that it's unscented, so if you're very sensitive to scents and fragrances then this one is for you. This product will always be a staple for skin care routine.

Felt and smelled fine and was moisturizing during immediate use. I use products with HA but this broke out my neck and caused what appears to be a chemical burn and irritation. My face which is less sensitive than my neck is getting pimples. The formula is irritating and doesn’t clean as well as their other products. I ended up having to get referred to a dermatologist, but my neck might have permanent scarring.
